Way to go exercising! It will pay off! It makes us healthy and strong - at least that is what I'm trying to convince myself after a day of skiing and my calves KILLING me!!!

Snow in Tahoe - everywhere! Beautiful day - sitting in the cabin with the fire on, no skiing today - just hot chocolate and catching up!

I am SO JELOUS!!

It's cold and rainy in Benicia. Glad for both as we really need it, but I would rather be by the fire with cocoa, or warm DOD, than at the shop feeling cold!

Oh well, at least taking a moment to catch up on the board is making me chuckle!!

Let's plan on the having the Dis Board Pirate Group photo on Pirate Night. Meet promptly at 7:45 p.m. in the atrium. We will have Shutters take photo at 7:55 p.m. DCL and guest services will be very prompt on the time because photos start up at 8 p.m. again with Mickey (if they stick to the same schedule), so I will arrange for Mickey to come out five minutes early. We will work with Shutters for 10 minutes getting everyone positioned in the picture and then at the last minute Pirate Mickey (or another character in pirate attire) will just show up, step into the picture for a few quick minutes and be on their way. NO INDIVIDUAL PICTURES WITH CHARACTER DURING GROUP PHOTO! Thanks!

Thanks for doing this - that is so nice! Maybe this could be the first bit of fish mail on Saturday the 10th? Or do you like handing them out personally and at the first DIS meet? Don't mean to change your plans - I'm just on my job getting the 15 days covered with fish mail!

Karen, are you the one who owns the wine shop and/or the one who recommended the wine tastings onboard? I've done the martini tasting, but never the wine tasting. Anyone have experience positive or negative with the wine tastings? I think I want to try it.

SF has a beautiful new port - ships coming in all the time! That would be so !

SF would be good to do Alaska in the summer and Mexico in the winter!!

They may not be able to bring it throught the canal, but they could come around the cape.

Maybe they will also keep one permanently in the Med.

Thanks for posting the 2005 Navigators (was that Linda?). I've been reading them over and I sure hope we have some great behind-the-scenes programs. It looked like some really good ones last time around. DH and I just love that stuff and so does DS9. It looked like only a few were adults only, so I hope that holds true for this cruise. DS9 was so bummed that he couldn't go with us to the behind-the-scenes tour of WDW last fall.

I know i don't talk as much as others and i don't know everyones name but i need some help. My grandfather had a 2nd stroke in 2 months and they aren't forcasting that his chances are all that great.

Could i ask that you send some good thoughts his way that he either isn't as serious as they say or if he is that he passes without too much pain?

Yes, we have the wine shop in Benicia, Ca. We did all of the wine tastings on the EB panama repo in 2005. They were fantatic!! We were really fortunate to have the General Manager and Master Sommelier of the Napa Rose in DL to almost all of the tastings as well as food and wine pairing seminars in Studio Sea.

I hope that he will be onboard again. I am planning to email him about it soon.

The mini navigator is a little booklet I will put together that is separate from DCL's navigator. It will list all of our special events (from this thread) as well as all the Dis Board cruisers and their staterooms as well as any special occasions that may be happening with any in our group during the cruise.

I print them before I leave town (but yes, I have been known to bring my printer/scanner)
