:cheer2: Ok-who has the fax number to IC (I'm almost afraid after the last disaster)?! I'm serious, I'm putting my request in for the maiden voyage, on whichever ship, whenever it will be...so if someone has that number, please post it!

slide up three and four posts from this one, (what the heck happened to the nomal hug smilie!)

Where can I fax a request for a cruise that is not available for booking yet?
Inventory Control: fax #407-566-7739
Please note that DCL only accepts advance requests for categories 1 thru 3.

From the FQA post, we can't request for normal rooms? This would suck.

Yes, it would! We'll try anyway and see if they send it back. :)

They look too big to go through the Panama Canal. I wonder if that means one of them will be permanent on the West Coast.

Repo crusie around South America? or send Magic/Wonder over?

That's what I was wondering. How would they get them from the shipyard to the west coast (if that's the plan)? I wouldn't care if it were the new ships or the old ones that were in CA, I'd be happy to have DCL here!

Check out the front of the top deck on the first ship, covered pool? ALASKA?

Penny-I thought the same thing, looks like a covered pool to me. Which would mean Alaska and if Alaska's the plan, then they'd need to have the new ship(s) somewhere on the west coast!

Well that really stinks if it's true.:sad2: Should I try anyway? I sincerely doubt we could afford a cat 3 for an inaugural sailing (we still gotta pay for the boys college:lmao: ). I'd be happy to request a cat 9 if I could. Does anyone know, if I request a cat 9 but they're only taking 1-3 would they call me and tell me they're not taking my IC request? :confused3

Sorry if this is old news....haven't checked posts yet:

The Walt Disney Company plans to expand its successful cruise business by adding two new ocean liners, President and CEO Bob Iger announced today. Scheduled to launch in 2011 and 2012, the ships will more than double the passenger capacity for Disney Cruise Line® to meet the sustained demand for Disney's family cruise vacations. The new 122,000-ton cruise liners will be two decks taller than the existing 83,000-ton ships, the Disney Magic® and the Disney Wonder®. Each ship will have 1,250 staterooms. Specific design plans and itineraries for the yet-unnamed ships are still in development and will be unveiled at a later date. For more information about this incredible announcement from Disney Cruise Line, sail over to disneytravelagents.com <http://disney.chtah.com/a/hBF3d2vAO8OgOA-ThfjAO-iud07/sail> today!

SF has a beautiful new port - ships coming in all the time! That would be so :cool1: !

Ooooh, most Alaska cruises leave from Seattle...that would make me soooo happy. :cheer2: I can't see them docking in Seattle though as it is so far from anything disney. :sad2:

Have seen lines that have both Seattle and LA as Alaska embarkation ports, it was only an extra day for the ones that leave from LA.

Ok, we don't even know what the cat No.s will be and what those No.s will represent in way of location, view and beds, lol. But we have sent ours in already.

My TA just sent me that announcement with a note that told me to start saving now! :rotfl: I guess she knows me well. I told her I would start saving for that as soon as I was done saving for the repo cruise;) . What does faxing IC do for you? Does it guarantee a spot or just let disney know you are interested? Disney is such a "tease" company making small announcements over time (ie-we are making 2 new ships, but no info on where they will be cruising or docked or anything else).

I haven't had problems with getting my reservations through my TA in the past...but I noticed many people here had frustrations and booked themselves, what is the overall consensus as to which way is better to book?:confused3

Wow what a day!!!

Ok, it is official and Jeannine and I are going on the East Bound Transatlantic Repo cruise!!!! Ordered a dvd camcorder today so I can record right on DVDs and then play them when I get home! Of course we are going to rebook onboard and have them fax a request to IC for the new ship(s). This is in addition to the one our TA faxed into IC back in January that we wanted to do a repo on any new ship any category after 2008. So I think we will be covered on that. :thumbsup2

The new ship has about 400 more staterooms than the existing ships. Also, the rendering is rather decieving as the ships are 2 decks taller than existing ships, but even if it isn't panamax now, it might be by 2011 because they are expanding the Canal. Otherwise, I am still up for a cruise around Cape Horn. Antarctica anyone???:beach:

Dcl even has it posted on their website. Imagine that! 4000 passengers! Wow, we will be there.

Welcome to the EB thread too! Can't wait to meet you

For her fish extender, she claims :lmao: She's making sparkly spanx.:rotfl2:

Doesn't Capt Spanx have one?

Oh boy! Here we go again! :rotfl2: The people who joined us after that conversation should read back and find that discussion for some great entertainment! :rotfl:

pretty........

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I've been found out. I was just kidding about the bedazzled fish extenders. But if I show up with a sparkly fish extender, don't be expecting me to show off my pretty panties. :lmao:

heeeheeeheeeheee!!!! Maybe we could hold a pretty panty contest by the Quiet Cove Pool before a round of Bunko! :rotfl2:

Sounds good to me - I know some people are having a hard time checking multiple boards. But I'm game to have that be the spot - anyone else's thoughts? Lisa

I second that! :)
