Hey Ma!
They kicked us out of school early. I couldn't work on anything for the cruise. I'll have time tomorrow, if we have school ;) , and a lot of time on Thursday to work on everything.

:wave2: ~Note to everyone~ :wave2:
The bigger sized Mickey Map logo is finished (for t-shirts)! I have two tattoo designs done.
Does anyone have any requests for a t-shirt/magnent/tattoo/signiture? Just tell me what you like and I can start working on things. I can only work on a few at a time because of school, so spaces are limited. Once the summer rolls around I can work on more.

Can you give me instructions on how to respond to more than one post at once? Must have missed that thread.

:surfweb:

Next to the quote button there is a button that has quotes. As you are going through post hit the button with the little quotes on the ones you want to respond to( I think it says respond to multiple quotes). When you are done hit the quote button and you can respond to all of them in one quote. Does that make since?

I thought we only had 10 days to cancel the disney insurance - I was reading it as from when you took it out (for me this was with the reservation/deposit) but guess I did not read it right - which I would have left it in place then and cancelled it closer to final payment time if nothing happened = oh well.

Krisann

If you can cancel it now and then put it on later or call today and get the cheaper insurance. It should be from the date of deposit not from when you opened the reservation. I should not say I just had her pull it I did that last week.

Yes, does make sense, I will try it when I have multiple posts that I need to quote and respond.

Thanks!!!

I originally had insurance with Disney and just had my TA pull the coverage. We are booking on our own for flights. The people on the phone will do a good job at estimating for you. If you go a little higher it wont really cost you more. Disney said you can put back on the insurance up until you make final payment. The reason we are all doing insurance now is because kids are free if you book within 14 days of deposit. Since we are definitely going I am getting the insurance now. The insurance is not refundable so that is another decision you have to make.

We don't have kids and no pre existing conditions. So would it be best for me to wait until I get closer to my final payment date? Sounds like the free kids is the main reason some people are getting coverage now. But it would cover something that occurs between now and final payment time or just after I have made final payment. :scratchin

Ok, I'm talking to myself but will continue:
Regarding Bunco (which also is spelled BUNKO):
I'd like to suggest (and am willing to organize) a bunko day. ADULT POOL SIDE. When it was my turn to do bunko at my house, I did "martini bunko" and had custom menus made. It was a blast. It will be tons of fun, instructions day of the event (trust me, you don't need to "learn" the game - takes 5 minutes to learn the rules). If we have more than 12 interested, we can do it twice. But I would love to do this - have everything necessary - bunko prizes, bunko dice, martini recipes to give to the bartenders....anyone??? PJ/Aunty Brat? Can I do this? Maybe get a spot on the website? If someone else wants to do it....YEAH! No problem on my end. My four kids keep me busy and entertained. But it would be something I can do with my work schedule as it is, and I would like to particate given my Julie McCoy nickname. Again, you guys put me to shame!
Let me know!
Lisa

Saved the above in a repo events file, will read/work it into the site tonight. Upon further reading, Lisa's confer and let me know a semi-final game plan to post, thanks, ;)

My DD's teacher just lost his dad. I would normally know what to do but this is the first time we have ever had a male teacher. He has to fly to NY and won't be back for a couple of days so I am going to hold back on the Valentine fudge I usually make. Does anyone have any ideas what we can do to let him know that we are thinking of him for when he gets back.

Morning everyone,

Just waiting for the snow to arrive here. You'd think by the news that it's going to be as bad as upstate NY but we are only predicted to get 10-30cm (up to a foot of snow) while upstate NY has 11 feet. The City of Toronto tends to overreact to this stuff.

No snow day here though although I'll wait til tomorrow.

Fiona

What so the mayor called out the Army, cute men never hurt during the cold weather, lol.

We won't have a snow day at the University campus, next week is reading week and there are too many mid-terms this week.

No just trying to save money in the long run. If something became pre-existing within about 10 days of opening insurance they might pay it. The free kids thing is just saving some money. If you are not 100% sure you are going to go I would wait.

Noel, as you read posts and find ones you want to respond to click on the "+ icon at the bottom of each post. Then when you get to the end, click on the normal quote icon of the last post you want to respond to. This is open a reply box with all the quoted posts there and you can put your response under each one. This is not good for thread post count, but who care about that, right?;)

Have absolutely nothing against cute men in uniform -- my DS is one of them. :goodvibes

Which university are you going to? I went to U of T -- too many years ago now. DS goes to York.

Perfect!! I am not worrying about thread count, need to save some time with multiple posts. Thanks again.

Thank You.:flower3:

I love these pictures of the little ones enjoying themselves.

I have no idea how to play Bunko, but I want to at least watch the first game.

It REALLY only take minutes to explain (roll for ones, roll for twos, etc) the tricky part is knowing when you are supposed to STAY at your table or move to the next one....hmmmmm, is it winners talk, losers walk???

Yep, wait till final payment time. Well maybe a year from now the insurance rates my increase a bit, but not by too much I imagine.

OK....back to catching up.

I went ahead and bought the ins now since Dennis has pre-existing medical conditions and barring medical problems, I do not intend to sit and watch this one on the internet!
