Good monring from a very dull rainy England (nothing new there)

Could I just say something? It's been really lovely having this group to 'chat' to over the last week or so, everyone seems so friendly. After our horrible news the other week I was feeling very low, and this group has really helped to cheer me up and keep me from dwelling on the darker side of life (sorry if that sounds a bit dramatic) Thanks guys x


I have learned so much too!!!

I now know what fish extenders are....(must pm that nice lady!) and will be looking at instructions for preparing door magnetic signs.......I've learned about new card and dice games (DH will love that, he loves games).......I've picked up tips on what to do in LA (and will no doubt be asking a ton of questions later on).....and all sorts of things about American colleges, school regualtions etc

Who says the DIS isn't educational?

We have blue skies and sunshine, but it is cold!!!

Like you I have learnt such a lot! Hope I can pick up the rules of all the card games, but it all sounds fun! No pool games for me though as I can only swim when my feet can touch the bottom and, no splashing!!

We will have to look for the magnetic sheets over here, though I am sure they will have them. If not we are both going to the US before then so could pick some up!

My laptop uually only last 1 to 2 hours but most the planes have power ports located under your seat or in the arm rest now.

What is the name of the vanilla bean blended drink they have? I love it. I don't drink coffee but it is like drinking a vanilla shake. The best thing is it does not have caffenine for the DD's. Not so good for me though.

I really don't drink coffee, but I do like a Starbucks cafe Mocha when I have to stay awake and drive . . .

My DH and I went out for the first time in over two years last week. I forced him to stop at starbucks for me. I waited on line for over 30 min to get my mocha fix! There was a group of school kids ahead of me that were all ordering coffee. I could not believe it I think they were 8 or 10 yrs old! My husband was so annoyed he waited in the car. But I waited for that coffee!
