No, but sometimes they have some deal where you can get a discount if referred by a member. Brack and Annette saved $15 a point by giving them our name. The referring member gets something too, BUT Oregon does not allow that (I think it was $50 or something) so nothing for us. But we were very happy that they used our name to save quite a few bucks. Dennis did go to the DVC desk and explain that we cannot accept the reward per Oregon law (gotta love this state - we are moving as soon as we can retire!) but that he would really appreciate if they would give him the whole set of pins they had on that cruise. I think there were 4 of them they were handing out for wearing you hat, etc. They were very happy to give him the pins. So, if you decide to buy check into any specials they have going on and use either our name or John1's. I think Ohio would let him accept the thank you gift.

Angie, John thought that Ohio was excluded too, although someone else thought that had changed recently.

Do the Disegnated walkers need to use actual walkers in order to herd the DOD folks who met or exceeded their 2DOD minimum?

What is up on NCIS with the Director and Tony? Did they get too close during Gibbs retirement? Will this create more conflicts later in the season? Who did take those pictures of Tony in bed with his new lady love?

Although people threw things off the ship during the repo thru the canal and the people loved it, Panama considers it littering, and the Captain got really made and told people if they didn't stop it, DCL would get fined and he would personally make sure they never got into Palos again, and no good deserts for the rest of the cruise...(ok, maybe I made up the end part just a little bit... But he did get REALLY mad and yelled at everyone over the loud speakers!)

Does anybody know how to get Temporary tattoos made up with the logo(s) that were designed and submitted? Can you print them out at home on special paper?

Wow that is really wierd for two people that are going on the same cruise to be within a mile of eachother and meet here. That just tells you what a small world it is after all.

We actually met a family on the Southern Caribbean cruise (last day at CC while parasailing) that literally live in the same neighborhood, three blocks away!

No, Ohio was once excluded, but that changed about 2 or 3 years ago. DVD sent us a brochure when it changed on what we could get. Mostly Disney dollars, etc.

Good Grief! Noel and Aunty Brat can you go help DCL organize themselves? I mean really thats almost embarassing!

The key word for DCL is 'ALMOST'....short of Mickey showing his mousey bits to the world and even then they would spin it...they do not want organization or stuff like that.

We used to be avid...well maybe rabid is a better word, pin collectors. And we loved all the spelling/word errors. One of our favorite 'error' pins was a movie theme one:
Winnie the Pooh holding an umbrella that was turned inside out from the wind and it said
Winnie the Pooh and the Blistery Day

They did not consider it an error pin ...perhaps they should have changed the umbrella to a sun and made the background Castaway Cay??

Ok, I found a place that will supply the make your own Temp Tattoos, however, I am not thrilled with them. They are not like regular temporary tattoos. These are more like labels. They have a glue that is activated when you place the tattoo against your skin and wet it, but rather than wearing off or lasting for several days, it is designed to be worn for a short period of time and they highly recommend that you do a test of irritation/allergy before applying. Being a mom and KNOWING that the kids as well as adults will want to wear these and will want several per family, I did not think this was a really practical or good idea.

well you are a chatty group. just wanted to pop in...we are a family of four...booked on the cruise Cat 5 waitlisted for a 3 and keeping my fingers crossed...i wish they would at least let you know how many are ahead of you..lol...

anyway this will be our 5th cruise...
kids will be 13 and 5 and i am so exicited...also my son will be study all about the panama canal next year in history so it is a great way to end his school year...
