the pizza and beer in the dhouse doesn't sound half bad. At least I have something to eat which is more than I can say around our house. Also, I'm not sure which would smell worse - a d'house or a room on some stinky boat with a bunch of strangers - Also, I saw something about someone going bare foot - just stinking up the boat more.

Wilson has no fear when it comes to spending money. We play a game called what would that cost in Willie World. We ask, how much for a ninetendo ds chip in Willie World ~ same as in reality. DCL price ~ same price, clothes about 1/5th of reality. Stuff he likes is usually close in price, things that he doesn't like, don't cost so much. Make a list, I'll have him price it out.

And on the foot topic, I asked him for a foot rub so he could stay up late and watch that stupid baseball game tonight, and he did.

A quick hello to everyone from Lake Havasu City, AZ, home of the London Bridge! Marilyn, would you like for me to say "hello" for you?

I drove over here today to visit a high school friend who came down from Oregon for a winter vacation. Today is a nice day here--probably 80 degrees and mostly sunny. I'm with him at the library while he checks his email so I thought I'd try to keep up a little with the posts.

The drive over here was very nice. On the way, I listened to part 1 of Oprah & E. Tolle's class on his new book. A little too much Oprah, but it was thought provoking. I didn't quite finish it, but I'll have time to hear the rest and probably the 2nd class on the way home (3 hr. drive). Have a good day, everyone!

We really should visit next time we are over in that area.

Those are nice snacks, I have a pan of brownies, the face of a mickey cookie and a carmel apple here for my snacks....

The luggage did not arrive, and British Airways cannot locate it.

Our friends bought what they could yesterday and this morning, but it doesn't come close to replacing what they originally packed.

Well today BA say they have sent all the lost baggage over to italy to ease the situation at Terminal 5. They have done that before I seem to remember!

Who said I missed the call re: the upgrade? Maybe I just conveniently ignored it - given the financial fiasco this cruise is already costing. In fact, I had half a mind to call and ask if we could just get our money back altogether.

OK - I'll be fine sleeping in the doghouse for this one - but so be it.

Well we had some great news today...

DD got into our first choice school for Kindergarten! Finally the long wait is over, I was starting to think that we'd be on the trip when I finally heard.

Great news.

I also think that considering I am a "gentleman of a certain age" that I am not instead trying to buy a Corvette.
