We are staying a couple of days at the Holiday Inn Expess on Katella after the cruise and want to make some reservations. Sunday when we get into town, I don't expect to go to the parks but would like to eat either at Downtown Disney or the hotels or somewhere in the area. Anyone with suggestions? The next two days we will be hitting the parks.

My list is now full. Below are the DISers I have and the number of people in their party...PLEASE let me know right away if I have your count wrong.

1 ibouncetoo
1 NotSoLittleMermaid
2 TinkRules
3 Txtwins
2 love2cruzsus
1 HollyTyler
2 vtiffany
2 cquick

total 14

I did the list based on the order in which I received PM's.

I'll be putting in the request for ANY sea day. Here's hoping the DIS folks get ALL their group requests. :thumbsup2

YAY! Thanks for doing this!

Oh yeah. DTD: Jazz Kitchen and Catal are my two favorites (non Disney). Love Storyteller's in the Grand Californian (breakfast has characters). You should get lots of suggestions from our West Coast crew!

Holly glad to see you popping in, hope you get the internet situation corrected.
Not likely to get it resolved. I'll just be cancelling because my phone line just isn't good enough to work properly. But I'll still be checking from work, so all is good! :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Since she was 3!! (She is 18 now). Her mom plays for the Oslo Symphony. At home in the summer, they will go to Downtown Oslo and play by the tourists. They leave a hat and they will get the equalivant of $300 $400 a day!!
WAY COOL! :cool1:

that's a bummer. I would go nuts without my internet! I would probably get a lot more house cleaning accomplished though!

has anyone ordered from cruiselineformal for this cruise yet? I just wondered if the charge was just the same as the weekly rental. I still have to do that. John wants the two jacket package.

I believe the price is the same for our cruise as for the 7-day. DH decided to buy a tux, and I ordered tuxes for the boys ($69.95 for a total package for the boys). They are so cute. I know they will outgrow them all too soon, but I thought the price was so low, it was worth it. All the guys have Mickey accessories, too.

Holy cow, it's dark outside! We've had lots of rain over the past few days, but this is our first thunderstorm of spring. The sky is literally as dark as night. Maybe we'll lose power here at work! I love it when that happens! :goodvibes But then I wouldn't be able to DIS! No good!

that's a bummer. I would go nuts without my internet! I would probably get a lot more house cleaning accomplished though!
That's exactly what happened this weekend! Lots of cleaning and a couple naps! :goodvibes A big nap on Saturday, then Tyler's dad picked him up on Sunday to go to his stepmom's niece & nephew's birthday party, so I napped then too until he came home. :cloud9:

Well yesterday was my DStepDad's 78th birthday.....the first one without mom. I called him at Mrs. Bush's.....the personal care home down the road where he lives......and told him that we would celebrate today. So we're picking him up at 2pm and taking him out to dinner and having cake and birthday wishes and presents.

I asked him if his daughter had called him and he said she did the night before. I can't beleive that she didn't take the time to come and see him knowing that this is his first birthday alone without mom. But that's okay coz we got it covered and we'll take care of him and make sure that he gets to celebrate his special day today. The sad part is......I know he would rather be with his daughter and his grandkids than us. Karen, his daughter, has still not seen him since mom died......and it's eight months now.

It's hard for me to comprehend how some people can live with themselves when they do things like this. It's beyond me. I could never be like that.
Deb, that's so sad how Karen is acting towards Ray. :sad2: It's so good he has you and John in his life, but it must break his heart to have his own daughter be so selfish. :sad1: Poor Ray.

Ian,

Staples here in Canada has business card magnets which you print, peel and stick for $29.99 for 100 pack. Link here to Staples.ca Of course thats not the type I use. I use Avery labels 08374... which of course cost $12 for 3 sheets because I didn't know about the ones I just linked to....

I am reading.... I don't think any shaving should be done on the upper lip!

Things are going well here in the Philippines. It is HOT and HUMID! We did a tour of the city the other day. Took a hotel car and driver and had him take us to all the tourist spots. The American War cemetary was amazing. It was very much like Arlington. Driving around gave a new perspective of the city. We went from the area known as Millioniare row to areas that were more like third world. 7 days down, 11 more to go!!
Glad to see you checking in, Amy! Well, you're almost 1/2 way to coming home! Good to hear you got to get out for a tour and get a slight break from work. Take care!

Haven't ordered yet. Was waiting till we had a room number, and have actually made some measurements!!

I started really cleaning off the cruise table this weekend. Stuff is getting packed and put away. I need to redo my box though and get it into something smaller.
