GREAT NEWS EVERYBODY!!!!!! IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!!!! We're arriving at 7:35pm to MCO Friday, 5/9 on Southwest! IT'S BOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:dancer: :jumping1::dancer: :jumping1::dancer:

Next I need to know if there's still room for 2 left in the hummerzine and I'm going to try to stay at the MCO Hyatt so we'll be right there for the Hummerzine (if there's still room).

Will figure out the rest later....have to get dinner and get Tyler to bed.

Wow now you won't have to drive the grueling 19 hours you posted about! Did the airline fairy visit your house last night? Seeing as how I have had no luck with the tag fairy maybe I should try to get the airline fairy to visit. :confused3

More good news! On my way to pick Tyler up from school, I called my student loan lender. After listening to the automated info, I learned I'd probably be eligible for an economic hardship deferral. When I finally spoke with a real person, all she did was ask how many hours a week I work, how much I make per hour, how many people in the house, and told me I qualify for up to 36 months deferral, with 12 months at a time to be up for renewal at the end of each 12 months. She e-mailed me the paperwork and when I submit it, it's effective immediately for this month forward (for 12 months).

:yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

That is excellent! I am really happy that you could get this deferment.

Or you can use a new one!

EllaEnchanted - I added a bit at the top to date it. If you want yours adjusted just let me know.

No thank you Ken, I think I'll leave it generic so that I can reuse it on all my cruises. Thanks for the offer though. I really like the way Angie and Dennis' came out too. How adorable and how creative you are!!! Thanks a million again!

So now nobody has to worry about us "with a flat tire on the side of the highway somewhere in Alabama"! :rotfl:

I hate flat tires. Had a bad blowout once not a fun thing to experience with a baby in the car. Thank goodness it was a lowered sports car and not a SUV. Instead of rolling over my car drug along the road and put huge gashes in the underbody and tranny. As far as flats I recommend AAA towing. I call they come and change it. Here in California we have had too many cases of weirdos stopping to "help" ladies on the side of the road. So I will not get out and do it, even though I do know how and have done it before.

Thanks to all of these people we have 300 lanyards on the way. The company did a close match to the Mickey Head paint chip and we decided to go with black print because the white wasn’t showing up on the green as well. So, now we wait for them to arrive.

I want to thank all of the people who offered to contribute, but we got all the money we needed with these 22 people. Thanks very much to all and they are on the way.

I ordered an extra 80 lanyards, but we’ve had so many additional orders since I ordered the lanyards that we are nearly sold out. So if you haven’t sent me an order form you need to PM me with your email so that I can send it to you.

Ok an update on my grandmother. She was doing better but now has fluid around her heart. She is awake and alert but still has a trache and feeding tube. She says she just wants to go home. They are taking her to another hospital this week. I spent 2 hrs visitng tonight and she didn't look good. Still keeping our hopes up though.
As I sit here at the emergency room with Frank, I can say with some authority "getting old is hell".

I am sorry for your grandma, I will pray for her.

Someone is going to have to teach this computer illiterate person how to make some door signs.

I have pics that I want to incorporate but have not clue how to do anything!

I'm with you Monica.....that's why I have DH. He's my IT specialist and he's my graphic artist too. I just sit down and use the computer. If it needs anything to be done to it or if we need any graphics to be done on it, then DH gets to do it. I don't have a clue!

I don't know if this will keep your hopes up but my dad had a trache and a feeding tube for three months last year (he did not have fluid in his heart) and besides having no muscle tone, he made it. The doctors told us he was not going to make it. He slept most days about 16 hours after he got out of the nursing home but he is now doing normal activities just not as he used to. Everyday he gets better. He had hard fluid in his lung that they had to do surgery to remove. The doctors said they had never seen anything like it.

What do you do for the Tournament of Roses? I have friend who is one of the white suits.

I live just a little too far from Pasadena to be a "White Suiter" but I am a member of the Burbank TOR Association. I help build the steel structure and the hydraulics animation items. I avoid the float when it is "Deco Week" due to my allergies! This started for me when I was a student at Cal Poly State Univ and worked on thier floats too.

Sorry to hear the news Jill. Just give her all the hugs and love you can while you're there with her. I'm sending you prayers and pixie dust that she recovers quickly.

I'm impressed that you can change a tire but not surprised at all that you hate flat tires!

Having just spent the last year in emergency rooms with my mother and now all the doctors visits with Ray, I completely concurr with your sentiments Lisa....getting old is hell!!!

Let's hope they see Frank soon and that he recovers quickly too. Prayers and pixie dust to both of you as well.

:rotfl2:

Hah! You what's even funnier? I typically have a huge roll of singles with a rubber band around the roll. It is really tacky, but it keeps them tidy. I mean what do you do with a roll of 60 singles?

I don't own a money clip. Maybe I should invest in one?
.

Accessorize!!!!

$5000.00 in DOD!:scared:

Yeah, that's about right....

What do you do for the Tournament of Roses? I have friend who is one of the white suits.

He's the one who likes to check out the Queens... US... the Rose ones are too young!!! :rotfl2:

I keep hoping for this for Frank

Holly, I need some of your mojo.....congrats on all the good stuff going your way. PM me or email me for info on the hummer if you want.

So, I ran late today with my last client and was driving to get the girls when I see those awful lights behind my car :scared1: The cop pulled me over and Jaide started calling me nonstop on her cell. I told the cop I had to answer it as it was my DD and I was late to get her and he looked at me told me to sit tight and walked away. He came back with a 155.00 ticket:mad: :sad2: :sad1: :headache: When I asked if I could explain, he said no! I told him I would be speaking to his boss tomorrow (I am good friends with the chief of police) and he said who cares. I am going in just to explain how rude he was to me (he was the new hire in town). I think I should have gotten a warning considering the circumstances...my 2 kids sitting in front of the school waiting for me and that I have had no tickets in my life...but he didn't agree. Wish me luck tomorrow! Holly, send me some of that mojo!!! :thumbsup2

I am staying at the Hyatt too and taking the bus. Those room to bus luggage transfers have made the decision for me. With just me and the kids to lug all the luggage, I will need all the help I can get. See you on the bus!
