I think I'll go back to bed and when I wake up, maybe the snow will have disappeared and I won't have to shovel. :lmao:

It was a bit alarming to wake up and see only 4 pages since I went to bed last night! Is everybody OK?

Just reading for a second as my son woke me but I know why the boards were so dang slow last night. Steph, Nan, and I were on the phone for an hour plus last night and not posting our plots and plans on the thread! :thumbsup2 I was going to DL for spring break, Nan was to be there for her Bday, and now we have convinced Steph to come as well. Woo Hoo look out DL here comes trouble! :dance3:

Here in Chicago, we typically have no spring. It can still be cold or coldish even up to and including Memorial Day, then, suddenly, overnight, it gets hot.

People joke around that it's like somebody flipped a switch from cold to hot.

This has puzzled me, ever since I moved to Chicago, back in 1983.

But now ... I have solved the mystery of Chicago weather. I have found. The Switch.

Below is a rare photograph I was able to take, before I heard the guards coming and had to make my get-away. Unfortunately, time was not on my side, and I could not flip it.

Well there were about 18 pages for me to catch up on so it is a good job it was so quiet overnight over there!!!

:thumbsup2 I wish I had one of those here in California so I could have nice hot weather year round.

OH MY GOSH, there's a mystery snowblowing guy going down the sidewalk on our whole block! I've never seen him before, so he must live further down the street. I feel like I should run out there and hug him or something, but don't want to scare him off from ever doing this again! :lmao: What should I do? Run out there and throw dollars at him? Toss him a bottle of water? ;)

I'd run out there and yell "Thank you" but I'm in my pajamas with my hair standing straight up from sleep. Again.......don't want to scare him! :rotfl:

He just made his return trip from the end of the block, so I'm gonna peek out the door and stalk him to see what house he ends up at, then will drop him a thank you note or something later.

He disappeared! It's a mystery! I think he's done this before though. I was out shoveling one time (as was most of the neighborhood) and mentioned the mystery snowblower person and nobody else knew who it was either. I finally saw him in action, so at least I know what he looks like and can watch the neighborhood carefully until I find him and figure out where he lives. :lmao:

Happy BirthdayI bet all of the AZ families are at DL for spring break ....I know a lot of them that are...for some reason they did all of our spring breaks the same week in all of the districts around here

Our spring breaks are all different. Cameron's is not until next week, so he got a day off for my birthday.
