they also have something to do with the red naught (knots) birds......traveled for 4 days and nights. .....the flock roosts and rests they have two weeks to refuel and refly....they eat the horseshoe crab eggs. It's essential for the birds.

Gaylean, I feel liek this is your fault, you better be in :scared1:

Ohhh, better go look at my watched dresses huh?

I'm in. I'm not sure why she didn't add me to the list:confused3. Maybe she was waiting for me to buy the wigs, which I have already done. Now I just need to figure out how to get it over my mop!

Hi Everyone,

I have been gone for a little bit. I am not even going to try and catch up. I am just saying HI! Life has been rough the last couple of months but now I am excited and back on track.:goodvibes

Lori, I figured you got swallowed by kindergarden. I hope everything is ok. Be prepared to watch out for the crazies at our table (me included) things are heating up.

Bengal BBQ, we can eat on the move, http://www.allearsnet.com/dlr/din/menu/men_bb.htm

Angie says Dennis is going to show us the ropes on fast pass at DL, she says he is pretty good at it.

Pj

Wilson can be hired cheap...he is my runner....run to the fast pass location and get 'em and run back....Actually we are a team. You need 2 sets of hands at the machine, one feeds the other one grabs the fast passes as they come out...I'm gonna miss that kid next weekened, bummer...

Count me and mine in as another that is going to DL afterwards. We're there until Wednesday. 2.5 days in the kingdom.

We may never make it to the left coast again, so we are staying 6 days....3 days at DL, one day at Legoland and the rest possible rain days

Blue Bayou
Napa Rose??? I think its called
Chip and Dale bfast - and yes, I realize it's Chip and Dale not Chippendale!:rotfl:

Blue Bayou, the food is ok & pricey, the atmosphere is great the first time. You MUST make ressies for this on Mday weekend.

Napa Rose, the best, but not in the park (it's in the Grand CA Hotel) I wouldn't take the girls there, it really is a more sophicated resturant (this coming from a mom that can take her kids anywhere, as they behave perfectly) You can get babysitting/kid club on site at Grand CA, but must reserve in advance, they book up.

Chip & Dale, I think you are referring to Storytellers. I would suggest doing a character breakfast. Storyteller's is good. You can have both buffet or order from a menu. Goofy's kitchen is fun buffet. Lilo & Stitch in PP Hotel is also fun, buffet too. All need ressies.

You have done your homework, you did pick the good ones. The rest of the food in the park is so-so. I don't do turkey legs, they taste yucky to me, and the bengal place too. I know some people like them and I understand we all have our own tastes in that regard. I do like the soup in the bread bowl that is my fast on the go meal in the park.

Me, Erm erm

well I bought a wig from Blackpool, England for girls weekend.

My husband worn it for New Year's Party

OMG - I am watching a documentary on horseshoe crabs.....they are bled....to do something with drugs....they are worth $1500 for the blood and can be released back when they are done. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY HORSESHOE CRABS ARE AROUND HERE??? I could sell them and be int he Walt suite!

illegal drugs??? or good kind of drugs? Maybe you have found a new calling...

Sure why not!

The Dis Chicks Wig Out

So we need to have a night that does not clash with a DCL event like no wigs on formal night!

So who will be willing to get wiggy with us?
Making_Memories aka ME!!
Nskjerven

who else can I count on to Wig out the Magic?
:dance3:

Are you doing it at late dining??? I don't want to be alone in this... :headache:

Heading out to eat some dinner, then a parent meeting for Molly's play (Grease) then I'll be back (in Arnie's voice did ya hear me?)

I just got off the phone with my aunt... lovely woman... who we just found out is cruising on Carnival the week before we do... Sounded like she was trying to convince me I should have booked that... I don't think she's even seen pictures of the Magic!!!

I'll take her SS Booze and Lose and raise her an extra week on DCL!!! :woohoo:

Is it open again?? Last I heard it was closed down. We loved the bacon wrapped asaparagus!
Say what, it had better be open. They already closed It's a small world on me. :sad1:
How old is Haley now? I think she would be fine to go down the slide. How tall is she?

She is miniature, so cute!

I'm about 90% sure there's not an age restriction, just height. 36 inches I believe.

Woo hoo!

can I pack a glue gun?

I don't even want to know.:sad2:

ooohhhhh I'm liking how that sounds, there is Rum involved right :rolleyes1

Every event I have ever seen at the Quiet Cove pool has involved very large adult beverages, lol.

LMAO I will be the one trying to aquire a full set of 12 wine glasses in my state room....

Remember Nan to save the free plastic cups they give you!! :lmao:
Last year, when we were on Carnival Freedom in the Mediterranean, I wanted to have a party for 30 people in my stateroom, so I called room service and asked for 3 buckets of ice, and 20 white wine glasses, 20 red wine glasses, 20 shot glasses, and 20 champagne glassses. Also I asked for several cheese platters, but they didn't have that, so they sent up cheddar cheese slices and saltine crackers like what you would get with soup in a restaurant. ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE! We had a wonderful party. We had bought potato chips at the grocery store in Croatia and several types of wine, and our friends brought wine, and we had a great time!

I think Disney would do that for us, too!

LIME GREEN TOGA PARTY???:rotfl: :rotfl:

Can we get DCL to dye the sheets LG????

Hmmmm.....to beer or not to beer. That is the question I ponder this evening. I often go out on Thursdays after work for a beer & dinner with friends to my favorite Mexican restaurant, Mangos. Not happening this week because everybody's busy. :guilty: So I figured I could still have my weekly Thursday beer at home while watching Survivor. And maybe I could have TWO since I don't have to drive home! And maybe I could have THREE because it doesn't matter if I'm a bit fuzzy for work in the morning because we only work a 1/2 day tomorrow.

OK....I guess I figured out my answer. LOL!

Don't forget to take some tylenol for the hangover...:thumbsup2

can I pack a glue gun?

Sure...I guess... don't forget the glue sticks... I packed one when I was in my girlfriends wedding... I spent most of the day gluing flowers onto her daughters dress!!!

We just don't do alot of sit down meals at DL. We will grab a chowder bread bowl, turkey leg or whatever is nearby when we are hungry.

Oh good!!! they have Turkey legs... where please....

ooohhhhh I'm liking how that sounds, there is Rum involved right :rolleyes1

Nan... we will have rum everywhere for you!!!

yup, we are at 8pm...

Are you doing it at late dining??? I don't want to be alone in this... :headache:

Oh why do I feel myself getting sucked in?????
