Talk to you all in the morning!
Talk to you all in the morning!

No - I will be the one at the port that they have lost the paperwork with no room!
the hunky lifeguards are playing football in front of my yard!!
I found the thread but can't find the pix.![]()
I was originally booked on this cruise when it first came out but had to cancel due to problems with the school district. My husband did pass away recently, and the school districts, I had to deal with two, did understand under the circumstances that the kids and I needed to get away from the memories and the press since this was a murder by a burglar.
My son, 16, has been suffering from high blood pressure the last few weeks (we are trying to rule out organic causes), I guess the strain is too much, and my daughter, 10, is having constant back aches, I assume this is stress and I had her checked out at the pediatrician today who said it might be stress or she could have strained somehow. I am a total zombie and I am hoping the this cruise will enable us to forget our troubles for a while and laugh and have smiles and fun again.
I think I am too late to get in on most of the stuff you guys have been planning for over a year, but in a couple of days, I will send our info out, I saw a thread about it. I would like to attend some meets or whatever you guys have cooked up. I haven't had time to do any planning. I just have the cruise booked and airfare booked. But I still have time.
Thanks for listening, my DH was a great guy and very loved in the community. We will miss him forever.

Marilyn:
I had purchased the red one for Paul, and looked at the ivory one too, not sure what the banana one is? I ended up getting the lite blue which is very nice also, we will keep it, but I want the red to match with my dress. So let me know which you like and I'll add it to my request and have it for you on the ship.
Nan
His is pretty bad I think, he's been in pain for quite some time and not been seen or treated, he's been in the hospital for a week and needs to stay at least another week! Not sure if he has other issues, my Grandma hates hospitals and won't go to them, so it was relayed by phone.
They won't charge the Champagne Girls $15 a bottle will they?
OK you are gonna think I am nuts but I already ordered something online and set the date to be delivered right before our sail date.I am always very good to those that are good to me.

OK so I bought this lime green dress. What do you guys think about jewelry?
I know we have a lot of people who have had loss over the year, as well as those that have lost their spouses in recent years. I hope no one is hurt that I am posting this fund information; Tammy was very reluctant for me to do so. However, given the incredible close timing, I thought the act of giving may help her, as well as help each of us as we struggle with this thing called life. Anyway....to the point...
I've been PMing Tammy and after much reluctance on her part, she has agreed for me to post the fund information I found on my own through a google search. First, I'd like to quote a little bit about Tammy's DH - from her words and some others:
Nader was an avid golfer and sports fan, a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was known for his kind heart and great sense of humor. As the service manager for a very popular restaurant, he met many many people from all walks of life and he was friendly and always did the right thing to the best of his ability. He always visited every table and personally greeting every diner at the restaurant. He was remembered and respected by many. All of this impact, and they only moved to their town in June 2006. He was a humble man and never would have believed how much he was loved and how much he is missed. He was taken from this life while working late at his restaurant, supporting his wife and children.
A fund has been established called the Nader Bahmanziari Memorial Fund. The fund will benefit Tammy and her children, Chris & Layla. The address to send donations to is Pinnacle Bank, 1745 Memorial Blvd., Murfreesboro, Tenn., 37129.
As mentioned several times, Tammy was reluctant for me to post this, and wants to stress that she is not asking anyone to donate to this fund. It was with my encouragement she is allowing me to post this.

EDIT: I'm PMing the DIS moderator to make sure it is ok to have this posted. Marr, please wait to add to first page until I confirm this post is ok. Thanks, Lisa
Ok, how funny would it be if one night we ALL wore lime green formal dresses? Maybe not one of the formal nights...but just a random night. We would have the WHOLE ship talking!!!
Not only will I be in that dress but I WILL be commando with TWO bottles in my hand! This is how you know a DISer!
Marr, you'll see one dress in april, but they are pretty safe. A black one, like the turquoise and black that you have. A dress that looks like leopard print from far away, but up close it's just the colors. Sleeveless, shows a little (or alot) of the chesticles hahahahahah and too the knee. The other is a spaghetti strap creme with a black lace overlay. Pretty. Also to the knee. No ball lengths or above the knee.
you can see my dress, it's in my photobucket...
just kidding...(well not really it is) but to make it easy on ya, here...

to make sure I can keep fitting into my dress, I'm off for some chocolate...
I am so into that. Let's do it. At least 300 people will think it's funny and the rest will feel left out!

I don't think it would be right to bring your own wine in the bottle to the dining table. Maybe a glass, ok. Connie
