Just passing this along, but if anyone likes to read blogs...there's a good one I was introduced to this summer:
www.eurosatemydollars.com
It is the travel journal of 2 east coast 20 somethings who decided to chuck their new found post college jobs and travel across europe and southeast asia for 8 months. They are 6 months in now and their blog is great. Very entertaining.
BUT you must start from the beginning...reading backwards doesn't make that much sense.

enjoy

We lived in Anaheim at the time. Off La Palma between Euclid and Brookhurst. We caugth up with the runner (literally) in Norwalk. We happened to be right by where they exchanged and the fellow who had just finished his run was gracious enough to pose for photos with folks who wanted.

Too scary my cousin Laurie that lives in Keizer now lived that same area growing up. You guys will have a lot to talk about on the ship.

I remember those boards, we use to use them for a modified crab style soccer game way back in grade school. It was in our gym class as well. they are really slick and you can build up a lot of speed. I would have thought that in the last twenty odd years they would have stopped using them. Got to love the Canadian school systems.

Pj

They were using them at my school in Arizona, two years ago. Probably still are...

Cheri - any news on your Frontier refund?

Haven't checked yet. I'm out of town and don't have the info with me I need to check it. I think it'll take a few days, but I'll try to remember to check when I'm home tomorrow and let you know.

Her band teacher also said that she can make up her missed performance (date being decided now for time frame while we are gone) by doing another one somewhere else. I figure she might have to offer a solo concert, maybe at Grandma's retirement home???

How about a performance on the Magic in the talent show? Video tape it and submit it to the teacher.

.
Just dropping in to get caught up before bed...so I won't have a zillion pages to catch up on in the morning, as I still have one final chore to do then before company arrives. One more day and I'M ON VACATION. :cool1:

I've found the site, but how do you read it in order easily...It lays out backward, what am I doing wrong?

To the Fish Extender Gift Givers....
I PM'ed Lisa...CALMOM and asked her to put it into English for this Ditzy person here...

This is what she so graciously sent me TWICE because, hey, yeah, I really am a ditz...

HERE YOU GO!

1. the amount of cabins for the fish extenders - 75
2. the amount of adults - 147 ( in cabins with FE)
3. the amount of children - 76 (in cabins with FE)

Ah, but still there are several cabins with multiple families, do we want to have those families share a gift? My cabin will have two, and justmestace's connecting cabins have five individual ladies cruising and all five have listed that they will have FE, are they going to split each gift, just a thought.

I would plan on 80 if you are doing one per Family with FE.

Pj

And I'm getting a headache... :upsidedow

Is there going to be a way to know if there are more than one party in a cabin??? I def. want to give for each!!!

From Lisanne's spreadsheet, those seem to be the two cabins with mulitply families. Mine has two and justmestace's has the five, so five extra "families", makes 80 in my thought process.

I guess it is easier for those doing Adults and/or kids or individuals, lol.

thanks for the link. I checked it out and looked at google and can't find the specific path or time it will be in SF. I'd like to see it run by. If you see more info please post.:thumbsup2

I know nothing of the actual route but if you look on this page it says San Francisco is April 9th.

Thanks, its not as many as I thought. I wish our captain would show back up as I liked her idea.

I am so upset with DH right now. He lost his passport and he told the girl scout he didn't want any cookies. I love the cookies with coconut, chocolate, and caramel but couldn't find any girl scouts this year. He likes thin mints but Keebler makes the same thing so I bought him some of those. They are great and he agrees they taste the same, but he doesn't like coconut so didn't get me any. Oh well my mom got me the kind with peanut butter. :) Off to search for the passport some more, this is why I keep all the important information.:upsidedow

Oh hi honey, Next time buy me my cookies.:rotfl2: (he is reading the Dis upstairs).

Well I have oh say 4 or 5 cases sitting in my garage of those I can mail your way! :lmao: Those are my favs too!
