We didn't go to the auction but we did win one of what he calls his 'scribbles' at his presentation. Wish I could scribble like that!:rotfl:

We got a Minnie Mouse "scribble" a couple of years ago. And on the 10 day Christmas in 2004 every stateroom got a print, which he then signed for us. Very, very nice. :thumbsup2

OMG - that is so cute!
Thanks! He looks cute all dishevelled from his day at school! :lovestruc He picked out his outfit for picture day at school yesterday morning, but you can see his tie and shirt are all loose from the school day. Most kids would take their tie off immediately after pics, but he's nutty and loves his ties! ;)

Nope, she is sort of playing two guys right now and it may come back to bite her. Her problem is - she has NO self esteem, she is such a pretty girl and thinks that these two guys are it as far as what she has to choose from!??! I keep telling her to shop around, there are much more fish in the sea!
DH is August 3rd as well!
!

How old did you say your daughter is? Is she going on the cruise? Our son, Mike, is so shy ( always has been a quiet person), and he is going on the cruise with us. Connie:cheer2:

We all got a print in our room from Ducky when we were on the special cruise to Antiqua. It is beautiful. Funny thing is I didn't know anything about him at the time. He was onboard and I never knew it. Found out all about him later on the DIS.:disrocks:

that's my sister, I was referring to, she is about to be 23.

My girls are 5 and 3....!:rotfl:

so when I got home last night, before I hit the bed, I tried to gather up some packing. The girls are well equipped...maybe one more swimsuit and pj's. My mom had gotten them all new socks, and lots of new clothes, so they are set. They do both need a pair of dress shoes though, I figure I will just go to Payless or Target for those, they won't wear them aside from this cruise and will probably be grown out of them before we dress up again!
I need to rent John's tux, need to pay transportation, figure out DL tickets.....oh the planning.

I pulled out three swimsuits for DH, that's enough isn't it? Not sure how many shorts, pants and polos to take him though. He has so many brand new in the closet....I pulled those out along with a couple ties, so no forgetting ties this cruise.

Great Pic Holly..... LOOK!!!! The Easter Bunny got to get his picture taken with Tyler!!!
:lmao: Well, Tyler did comment this morning on how happy that bunny was to see him. He said, "Mom, he just kept waving at me, he was so silly!" :goodvibes

My kids alwasy thought the Easter Bunny was dumb......they believed in Santa for years and when they told me the Easter Bunny was fake I agreed and told them the nasty old malls are just trying to capitalize on the success of Santa....and it worked with all 3 of them.....

You know, that Bunny doesn't really look like he could jump from house to house in one night all over the world....YA THINK??:lmao:
:rotfl: Well, Tyler did tell him not to poop in our yard! ;)

I am a LEO! Born on August 4! And Chuck and I got married on August 18, so I celebrate all MONTH LONG!
:grouphug:
DH is 8/3, and I wanted desperately to get married 8/18, he wouldn't wait the year, we had to do it in December.:confused3

Good morning all, Lots to respond to this morning. I'm typing slow as my fingers are all torn up from gardening yesterday - Hit a million little rose thorns!

Good News, Susie SSnyder will probably post today, but she will bring the white boards for the midship floor monitors and has it all worked out from her end. I told her I volunteered her and she was very kind about it :lovestruc

So is anyone else on here an aries or am I all alone. My birthday is April 3rd and I getting a vaccum cleaner:rotfl: .

DD is April

Happy Birthday Angie!
I remember about 12 years ago we went on a 14 Princess cruise from Athens-Rome, visited Israel and Egypt. Having so much time on a ship was just wonderful. You really do leave your worries behind! And goodness knows we all have so many worries.

Happy B'day Angie

I have a friend who worked for princess - I've heard really nice things about princess cruises.

My DH has a THING about long pants! I have a hard time geting him in them for dinner onthe ship! Honestly!:rolleyes1

Chuck and Jonathan can stroll into dinner together each night with shorts and see if they get kicked out. He hates changing into pants. He wears shorts in freezing weather. Ok, high 50's, maybe not freezing.

My in between trip is LA - my sister is treating me to a week-end at the Chateau Marmont to celebrate my 40th in a few weeks. It will be a few weeks early of course (since my b-day is May 16). I love star sighting, so we will go to some of those places like the Ivy and such. Any Southern CA have recommendations for star watching?? I'm sending down a bottle of Dom and a nice bottle of red I got as a gift to help celebrate the occasion. I can't wait for that trip...partially because once it arrives that means only 4 more weeks until this one!!! We haven't taken 2 weeks off for 12 years. This is going to be such a treat. And I don't care if the ship misses all its ports! I'll just be so happy to be sailing....
Lisa

I will PM you something funny with some spots for celeb sitings.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Hit B.H., Hollywood, Rodeo Drive. . .or you can have my job (just kidding, love what I do). I get to see a whole different side of the "stars." Joseph

I'm thinking you are a rehab administrator or a judge. papparazi?

Ministry does not pay the bills, so we are designers. High end additions and remodels. DW used to work for a company that provided grip equipment (I think thats what they did). So she got to go to sets from time to time. We also live in an area with lots of "industry" people. Joseph

ah ha!

You are the same as me - anyone between 1961 and 1981 is a Gen Y'er (so I read somewhere recently) - we are supposed to be pessimistic and annoyed at Gen X'ers attitudes to life?!?!?:confused3
kelly you are a boomer by date fact for sure, I'm the last of them at 1964. I think the descriptions are odd too, I'm an in betweener for sure, but I guess I'm leaning more towards an Xer as I age...

Gosh now I feel older than when I was an inbetweener. I feel like a younger genxr

1974, guess I am a Gen X'er.
Me too - 67

MY LAST POST WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN LIME GREEN!

ALL DIS'RS SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING LIME GREEN ON THEIR DOORS!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What do you do again? So curious! I just love it all. I wish that there was some shows that taped on the week-end, as I would love to do that. I went to see "Taxi" taped during its time. That was exciting!Lisa

Go here, this is the company we used with Full House and I've used them many, many times to plan group events.

she knows the cat 4 is open right???
I like the detour btw :thumbsup2

Yes, but she had a cat. 11 at $3400 (I think) and really needed to drop the cost a little bit more. Last year we could get cat. 11 for $1700 for the TA, but it doesn't look like that will happen this year.

The Mods closed the 3/1 thread... it got too nasty... :sad2:

WOW, that is bad. It was so hostile I couldn't read more than one page.

If you ask, the waitstaff will tell you a story.
Woody

I did not know that! :cutie:

I think we Californians take much for granted.
We live close to the beach, and for many years we went to the beach only when we had visitors.Sand in the shorts -- ewwwww!Woody

True - we go to the beach if we have company. Although we do go for the boat parade and other events.

well besides my cold, I had a terribly realistic dream and cannot go back to sleep. Someone was after me, stalked me to my office and had a gun, I shot him in the head but he didn't die and when he got better he kept coming after me.

:scared1: :scared1:

This kid is a catch, he is sweet, kind, and very handsome! Any single gals on the trip?

Good Morning All - we were up at 2:30 to see the shuttle launch - Safe flight Endeavor.

Unfortunately, there was a low cloud cover and we did not see the tell tail flame. We try to see everyone we can - we grew up in Florida and saw all the early 1960's launches to present....

Back in 1991 my father and I drove from Prince George, BC to Orlando. As we were driving there we heard on the news that the shuttle launch was delayed by a day. We looked at each other and decided to drive all night long just to get there in time. We arrived at Cocoa Beach with time to setup a spot and watch the shuttle go off. It was simply amazing. The best part for us though, was a few hours after the launch we were on the tour bus for Kennedy Space centre on the way to the launch pad. It just seemed too perfect to us who both loved the space program, and were on our own bit of a trek...

A few years later I drove to Orlando with my girlfriend and we had tickets to go and see the shuttle take off. Unfortunately the shuttle was delayed and we weren't able to see it take off as the delay pushed it out past the time we were going to be there. It was ok I guess, I ended up proposing to her in front of Mickey in the MK anyways...

I have to say that he creeps me out. That is not what I pictured in my minds eye when I was little for an Easter Bunny. More like this.

this is Molly's bunny Polly
Aw, so cute! :goodvibes

ok, so how do I take video with my Canon and then how can I upload it, and what format will it be in? The book has me a bit baffled.....
