There were days when I had my grandfather living with us that I just wanted to toss in the towel and give up. I couldn't because while my mom was working, I was the one home (I was in college at the time) and took care of my grandfather as much as I could.

It's is indeed a very difficult place to be in. You love the person but you hate the circumstances.

I know it may seem hard to do, but take some time for you... even if it is a few minutes alone to have a cup of tea or listen to some music.

You are a very important person and we love you very much...

Thanks.....I did something fun this afternoon.

My best friend took me to one of those "Dinner Done" places and I made 10 meals. It was really really fun and I made 10 meals in 2 hours. We ate one tonight Double Stack Beef Quesadillas YUMMY!!
Here is the others I made:

Chicken Cordon Blue
Chicken Saltimbocca with White Wine Sause
Pork Chops with Roasted Red Pepper Bruschetta
Crab Cakes
Filet of Salmon with orange Reduction
Honey Rosemary Chicken
Pork Roast with Creamy Mustard Sauce
Shirmp and Feta Orzo.

My tenth meal I took 4 sides....

I think this will take a lot of stress off at dinner time......

UGH, I don't know what to do ......Haley has "lost"her binky - but now, she is using her THUMB!

V, I am so far behind, but if you don't want her to attach to her thumb, go buy some of the paste that you paint ion the finger and makes it taste so bad, they can't suck the thumb. It worked for my niece.

Yes Dennis, Amy is back. But she leaves again on the 22nd! I'll let her tell you guys the stories when we meet again.

I really miss my time here, but I think it is going to be more and more limited. Some things have happened at work that I am trying to deal with and my time has become a big issue.

I'm amazed at how much you are able to juggle. Isn't your Disney escape coming up soon? Hang in there....

I am sending Frank over to Don's brother and his wife (who do not like Frank)
I am sending my mom to my brothers (who love my mom and have beem begging her to come....she does not know yet..she finds out tomorrow and she is going oto pitch a fit)

Vanessa's sister is coming from Norway and I am taking my 2 daughters and Vanessa and she sister to WDW for a few days during spring break.

I hope it is fun.....then only a few weeks till our cruise.!!

Good morning all. That is what the news is calling our weather. It has been snowing almost steady for 24 hours and is going to snow until at 7 PM this evening. Last time weather was seen like this in this part of the state was in '78. We even had lightening and thunder around 5 AM. The airport is a mess. Most of the flights are cancelled or delayed and all counties are on a Level two snow emergency at least. Some are under a level three. For those lucky to be in Florida and CA a Level 2 means do not be on the road unless it is absolutely necessary, level 3 is the roads are closed to everything except emergency vehicles and you will get a ticket if caught out. Hey John1 how bad it is for you? Here are some pictures.

I know I will have missed all sorts of things over the last 2 weeks so would like to send to all who need it for various situations.

And could I please again ask for pixie dust/prayers for my DBro. He has now developed Guillain-Barre (?sp), lost the feeling in both legs and hands. He's back in hospital where they are treating him to hopefully halt the progress of this disease as otherwise it will paralyse his lungs next. He and his DW know they don't have much time left together now and so they want him to be at home, not in hospital.
