I have NO clue what to get for my mom.

I'm just sending a card. At her age, she has everything she could want and doesn't like me to give her stuff to clutter her house. Easy!

Tyler's dad called me to tell me Tyler told him I'd be picking him up from school tomorrow to leave for vacation and he wanted to confirm that Tyler gave him the right info. Yup, that's right! AND he told me he's sending spending money for Tyler and will put it in an envelope in his backpack and told me to remember to grab it! HOW COOL IS THAT?! I told him that's very nice because I'd already told Tyler he wouldn't be able to buy stuff this trip, and he's OK with that, he's just happy to be going on the cruise. So imagine how excited he'll be to get to buy stuff! Actually, his dad did that last cruise. He sent $50 with him.

If I have the time I want to go to the library to get some reading material. I have some books at home but I want paperbacks.

Don't worry about that....we're bringing books! At least I hope we are....what with this luggage weight business!

What time does dcl come to pick up your bags from your WDW hotel?

Just popping in to add a sad update. I just spoke to Nan a moment ago and when Nan woke up this morning Casey was not able to get up out of the bed. Sadly Casey was taken in this morning and was put to sleep. Casey had been having trouble as some of you may remember so it was time. Nan thinks Casey chose today so the family would be there and she didn't have to go alone. So hoping a few of you can send up some prayers for Nan and her family and Casey.

I would love to read on vacation. The only time I was able to was my one and only vacation WITHOUT Tyler. No chance of reading when he's around! But maybe this time will be the ringer.

I was going to send the links to webcams and tracking sites to Tyler's dad so he can sort of see where he'll be, but since the awesome & wonderful site posted here doesn't work with IE, does anybody have links that would work with IE? Also, if I could give him a link to a live trip report, that would be helpful too. Thanks in advance!

Cheri got to the airport and through security (which took a while she said), so she should be in the air! I signed on and got my SW boarding pass (A54), so I'm good to go.

If there are any DIS meets either at the Hyatt or DTD, will someone just post here on the thread. I will be arriving about 10:30 PM tonight so I hope I will be able to say Bon Voyage in person to some of you lucky cruisers.

Noel, if there isn't rain DTD meet 4:30 - 5:45 across from the World of Disney, at the performance stage.

Hyatt meet, lobby left side of the check in desk(?) evening several hours.

It's been three years since our last cruise and I cannot remember

We have to have our bags ready by 8 am.

I fell asleep last night!

I did too, but I woke up a couple of hours later and couldn't go back to sleep again!

Silly me. I am so excited that I put on the Travel Channel's DCL program which I have on DVR. I've only seen it who knows how many times.

Well, we're finalizing everything this afternoon as we leave early tomorrow morning. I CAN'T WAIT!!! It's supposed to be freezing and rainy as we leave NY and hot as heck in FL, but that's ok. We can go swimming at the Pop Century pool, and then to the Pirate and Princess Party. I may not make it back online again, so HAPPY TRAVELS to everyone and I'll see you onboard!!!!!

I don't know if I've ever slept as late as 7:00 AM! I suspect that we'll still be up early. Probably augmented by being excited about the cruise.

Nan I am so sorry about Casey! I know how a pet affects a family in ways that you never expect. Hopefully the cruise will help keep the kids minds occupied with happy thoughts. Be prepared for the day you come home. When this happened to me that was one of the worst days of my life. No friendly face waiting for you.

Uh oh.....I just thought of something. I have Palo at 8pm the first night of the cruise. Will the Oceaneer's Club be open for dropoff? I think I remember it was only an openhouse type thing the first night last time with NO dropoff. Anybody know for sure?
