OMG! Our disney store is CLOSING!

Disney bought back the stores. So yours may be closing only to re-open later....at least that's what happened here.

Our carry on is packed with wine and essentials. DH is carrying the camera and reg bag. I have the backback and ????

.

How can you carry on wine? Or are you saying carry on SIZE and you are checking it? :confused3

Coffee break over....back to work.

Tomorrow I get to sit in 2 hrs of training for a new system I will totally forget while I'm on vacation! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

....

I know mine do feed off my stress...when ever the Outlawz are coming over, they get this way too. But I think they are excited, they are driving the teachers at school crazy...I think they will pull their hair out if they hear Disney Cruise one more time.

They just got in trouble for swinging a potion around. They didn't stop doing it so I took it away and they went in their rooms and brought out light sabers! I guess they thought that would be better :confused3

You said earlier that you have been to Cabo a few times. Do you know how far the hotel is from Cabo Wabo? There is no address on their site but it does say:

Located in downtown Cabo San Lucas on Calle Guerrero between Madero and Lazaro Cardenas

I'm pretty sure that Cabo Wabo is in the main Medano stretch, should be less than 10 minutes. I've heard it is a walkable, but by beach and a bit difficult. You can also take a water taxi, which I wouldn't with kids. Cabo taxis are expensive, pretty much when you get in it is a $10 minimum, but this place should be only $10 from anywhere you'd want to go.

Medano is very busy and when we've been very crowded. The bars and restaurants have row on row of chairs, which are free when you get food but can be sardine-ish. There are tons of vendors walking by wanting to sell you things and lots of activity like jetskis, etc. It is an experience, but not our idea of a relaxing day at the beach. I think it is just a personal preference thing.

That's the one. Is that per person or what? I think she said it was 160 for four people.

That is per adult, based on double occupancy. They add a few dollars of tax and you can list the kids for free. All of the prices on that site are at least per adult, some are per person so you have to make sure it says 'kids free' or doesn't say 'per person over age 5'.

He just wants to go and get some souvenirs and take a shot or two to say he has been there. I heard you can sit outside and the kids will be fine in the restaurant. We want to find some kind of resort to relax in as well but we have to go to Cabo Wabo for sure. That's the only thing he really asked to do.

I'm going to look. Did you look at them all and picked this one?

will they physically close? They took all the tickets and DD's out already and everything has the large %off stickers on it and all sales are final.

pp but the kids are free.

Oh no! All my plans are unraveling - why no water taxi with kids? How old are your kids?

Me too! Van Halen is my favorite group ----- they don't start hopping until LATE at night, so I think kids are fine....we can make our own party!

Hi Ian

I showed it to my husband and asked him if it is automatic and he told me yes wow. i never know about that.

as I love take the photos of digitial.

Wonder if order one and deliver to UK????

Scottishwee35

Deb - I'm sure they ship to the UK, but I'm not sure what how much shipping costs.

I just looked at the power converter that it comes with and it can accept voltage input from 110 volts to 240 volts, so it would work in the UK because you're on 240. But, the plug is a US 2 pin plug, so you would need to use a plug adapter with it for your 3-pin UK plugs.

V, sounds good to me, about cabo wabo, not the spelling.

What are you putting in for a date? I got 120.00 per person for RUI.

Villa del Arco Beach Resort & Grand Spa
this one is $69 and is by Medano for swimming.

This is not a bad choice either. Note that the rate is for the room only, so you have to pay for food and drinks. For some reason when I click thru to book, it ends up being $174 total. When you have a room here, you can also go next door to the Villa Del Palmar which has pools with a little whale slide from one to the other the kids might like. DH was really opposed to Medano and I decided that the free food at the RIU would be nice, plus they have more pools, so we are doing that one instead.

From what I understand, they are only buying back certain stores, not all of them.

My kids are 7 and 11. When you take the water taxi to Medano or other hotel it is water/beach exit, at the Marina you get on at the dock. It can be wavy and rough and you have to wade in. I just read a report about a taxi flipping over in the last two weeks and cameras, etc getting ruined. I also think that the charge is per person, so it may end up costing more than a good old land taxi. Again it is personal preference, but not worth the dunking risk or kids overboard to me.

The Pueblo Bonito Rose or Blanco are nice too and on Medano, I think they come in near $200 for the night.

According to cruisecritic you can go to the ME Cabo and pay a day rate per person, it ranges in price from $35-60 pp, then they are supposed to give you up to that amount in food. It is not geared towards kids, but they are allowed.
