I think the tables in the Promenade lounge only hold about 4 each....which is perfect for Bunco.....you may be able to put 4 tables together and get a big enough area for 12.....

Don't know if you were on the site in August the very first weekend Daniel was at VA Tech....but he organized a Texas Holdem tournament at the student lounge in his dorm where there was a poker table. Well, he didn't know it was against the law (bad mom never taught him) and the entire group was arrested...it was a nightmare for him.....first weekend away at college.....I was beside myself....His defense was THERE WAS A POKER TABLE....WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO AT A POKER TABLE OTHER THAN PLAY POKER?? WHY HAVE IT IN THE STUDENT LOUNGE IN THE FIRST PLACE???

When his case went before the VA Tech review board....they told him since April 16th last year (shooting) everything and they meant everything was taken so much more seriously....so he was convicted and had to do community service (20 hours I think AND ONE MORE OFFENCE AND HE WOULD HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT OF SCHOOL) .... needless to say he is a little leary of poker now.....

He said to me just now....what will happen if those DIS people get caught gambling? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
OH MY GOSH!!!! Daniel was arrested?! Did he have to stay in jail overnight? Did you have to go bail him out? HOLY CRAP! Well, the school shouldn't have tempted the kids by having a poker table there!

okay help me with this Smoking thing.....I am in 6588 and I think that is on the side of the ship that allows smoking...is that right??

Yes, but I am hoping it won't make any difference. I know Deck 4 is below us(below the lifeboats), but I bet it won't waft too far.

Verandahs are all smoking. The only problem there is that people might smoke more on their verandahs with the other restrictions.

From the way I read it, any veranda can be smoked on;

"Smoking Permitted

*Decks 4, 9, & 10 starboard side (outdoors only and excluding all areas around Mickey's Pool)

*Deck 9 midship - starboard side - An area with the same types of tables & chairs that can be found around Cove Cafe

*Guest's private verandah (Cats 1-7) "

I emailed dcl this morning as I am not happy with it. Got reply back but I am using laptop now as it is in PC. I will copy and show you tom okay. that what PJ had said it.

That is what I thought at first and I thought everybody would be changing cabins!!:lmao:

Well I asked for changing cabin, I think it is too late now as postage package had gone out now as pity If I knew earlier on, I would have change the room. But I dont think it is sense as I think people would smoking outside of verdadh.

I hope it is not spoilt our vacations.

Crazy kids, they just can't get it together!

Every day I ask her how she wants her hair and every day she says something different but when she doesn't care she'll say two ponytails so she has those more often then other hair styles.

Lovely kids

Olivia had a long hair but not now as her hair is shorter now she love it.

On the 9th deck....yes....hard to fit even 6 at them and there are not that many so they fill up fast.....that is why I am think Promenade Lounge.

Sound great

Wow, today was the first day I was able to have ALL windows in the house open! It was the warmest day yet, probably close to 80! Summer is truly here! :goodvibes Tyler was trying to ride his bike and the neighbor guy across the street was really nice about coming over to give him a push so he could get started pedalling each time he stopped. ;) He just doesn't have that muscle tone or coordination or something to get going and can't figure out how to balance himself to sort of stand a bit to push that pedal down for that initial pushoff. Then we plugged in his firetruck to charge the battery so he can drive that around the neighborhood tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Oh today the weather was cold and not great for Spring April

Just checked to see if my docs had left Jacksonville yet and no they haven't. But I now have 2 different packages in Jacksonville!

Are you going to WDW before the cruise????

No, we are staying at the Nick Hotel so we will just stay there and swim and slide. We have never been to WDW so a day wouldn't be long enough.

I just read through 10 pages and get to the end and it's just me posting...

Well I spent my day VERY PRODUCTIVE. I cleaned my whole house head to toe! Did dishes, laundry. Now I can relax that the cat sitter will be in a clean house. I still have to clean off my desk and the craft room, but those won't be seen so no biggie. I have yet to find the old epi pen from last year. I even took down my xmas lights...better late than never right?!?!
I'm going to check out and see you all later. The pics are great. Sad that I wasn't there.

Stephanie

Wow, you did more today than I did all month! We missed you at the meet but we'll see you before you know it.

Where is that hotel? I haven't been to WDW in 20 years so it's pretty much new to me!

He got arrested by the VA TECH police...so no jail time:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
He really did not like it though...I mean it was he first weekend at school.

Nice video, I enjoyed it, but historically it's a little inaccurate, considering Walt had a pretty bad relationship with his father and Ub Iwerks created Mickey Mouse not Walt.

A good documentary that has been on cable/satellite over the past few months is "The Hand Behind the Mouse." It's a documentary about Ub Iwerks.

ya, I thought that same thing, about his father. Wilson got me a childhood version of Walt's life for my bday. His childhood sounded a bit harsh.

We are in WDW this weekend and we ran into some fellow repo cruisers. Not sure if they are DISers. They are from Minnesota, somewhere on deck 6, and have second seating dining. :) And they were not on the last repo cruises but they did do the Med cruise. And after that conversation the CM who was ringing up our purchase was from Aruba. Jo (the CM) says she recommends the Arubarriba. yum!

And there is the $50.00 pizza!

it looks like the same kind you get for five bucks from little cesar...so not impressed with the food at Dland, except Napa Rose and Steakhouse 55, and Dole Whips and Tigger tails.
