back to catching up...I'm reading backwards so missed tonz!

my DK had field day today at school and my DS fell face first and scraped his chin and knee then towards the end my DD got dehydrated, threw up, and almost passed out so instead of it being a kodak moment I was at the nurses first with one and then the other child:sad2: At least its not as hot as it can get out here its almost 90 so a little warm with them running around and stuff.

...back to catching up....

So he will have a mysterious scar to show the girlspirate: , until DM tells the real story. :rolleyes1

I don't know if this has been posted before, but it's a must read for those considering checking your luggage curbside and hoping they don't measure it as strictly...

Curbing curbside fees

For curb side baggage checking on Delta flights, Delta charges $3 a bag plus a tip for the skycap.

For curb side baggage checking on American Airlines, United Airlines, Northwest Airlines and US Airways it's $2 a bag plus a skycap tip.

Note that most of these fees can be paid by cash only. :guilty:

Oh, and remember those pesky extra fees for more than 1 bag? Nobody at the airlines knows exactly how you will be able to pay for those. Some say cash, check and credit card, only that varies between who you ask. :scared1:

Let's all remember to have fun out there!

Are those the only airlines charging:confused3 We are flying Southwest......

Are you guys buying these for your kids or yourselves or both?

I wore mine on pirate night last yesr, but with all our fun activities planned, I might get a chance to wear them more often!

I actually gave some of them away to CM's and small children that liked them. So I came home with only 3! That's why I need to buy more!

Have a great time at the Expo!! Hope you find lots of fun things to buy.

How many signed up for your on-board scrapbook class?

I think we are at 74! That's why I said YIKES! Guess I better get it finished.

That is a great idea.

What a fun day for the kids! NOT...and OUCH!

Nearly caught up and lunch break almost over....going to peek over at the DCL site and read a bit more about Aruba excursions.

later kids!

Linda, have you heard from the Panama Canal pilot who used to post on here and you got to know last repo?

I wonder if he is piloting our ship again.

I emailed him yesterday and am waiting to see if I hear from him.

What are you guys talking about?

The meet last May.

SW is still cool. You can still check two bags and no curb side fees ....as of 24 hours ago when I was on their web-site anyway.

I have two soccer games in the morning and then we have the meet. Is anyone doing Disneyland after the meet tomorrow? Tim might have to work now so we will see if he comes.

 ME....I get to go to Disneyland...

Don't know how long I'll hold out in the park (it's open till midnight), as I have to be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to make the drive, but I'm at least staying for the fireworks (9:somethingPM)

This is most helpful - well, the alert is helpful......I was working on TIP envelopes and cash flow for the cruise, I never carry cash, and trying to sort this out....Now, I have more fees -

'scuse me about the $25 per extra bag - let's hope the Airlines sort this out before we have to fly....geeez.

Aruba is the only place we are not doing an excursion...many say they have nice beaches around there so we are calling that our beach day:thumbsup2
