My DD6 lost a tooth tonight (so she told me over the phone tonight). But she doesn't want the tooth fairy to take it yet. Se wants to show it to Gramma who is coming down tomorrow. So my DD6 is putting it under her pillow tonight but has also put a note to the tooth fairy not to take it tonight but to take it tomorrow night instead.

This is only the 2nd tooth, from both kids, that have actually made it under the pillow. We usually have to write notes because they lost them and Ethan swallows them!

It should be fine then? I know some people that went on a one week and spent 1500.00 just on alcohol. I figured Disney would be worse.

I was on an rccl for my sis wedding and my bar bill was 1k..just for me in 7 days...I couldn't believe it

It drains you to take mom to the doctor?

she has dementia. She is very forgetful and sometimes arguementative. It's hard to have to be the parent of your parent at the doctors office. Yup it wipes out the rest of my day usually.

that is just creepy. the tooth fairy still comes here she just has to be told to pick up her teeth. remember I have a younger child at home too. ok, he knows the fairy is fake, and he is a jerk about it sometimes, but why not play with them and keep this stuff alive and share it?

I bet when she gets older you will let her go on them without you and him. the concept of having the "troop" have their time alone is fairly important imho, it helps the girls bond.

I am the only co-leader and we have 15 girls. I would love to leave her!

Ok I had a very bad day at work. I am available 2 days a week for a total of around 20 hours. Well next week is my last week of school and my manager scheduled me almost 40 hrs and 5 days without asking me. I told her I couldn't work that much and she said too bad you have to. I of coarse don't have to as that is not my availabilty. Well if I tell HR or her manager she will look for a way to get me HUGE trouble. Today she wouldn't look or talk to me.She wanted to write me up b/c I called in Monday. I haven't called in in months (I have worked her 7 years). Thanks goodness my best friend is also a manager and warned me.

I really want to get it fixed but she will punish me if I do. Our HR won't tell her but she will find out. She basically threatens us not to tell what she does to us. She tells us all the time she can fire us anytime she wants. Its getting really old so I am thinking on going over there either tomarrow or Fri and hope she doesn't see me talking to HR. Last time I talked to HR we all went as a group and she wrote the whole team up. Everyone quit but me and now all the new people are quitting too.

Thanks for letting me vent. I hope to talk to my best friend and her boyfriend (both managers) about what to do tomorrow.
