There are a couple of young bachelors from Oregon that have done a book, a video and now are lecturing on Project Everlasting. You can google that and find out more about it, but in a nutshell, one of them watched his grandparents holding hands and still being really in love after many, many years of marriage. He looked around and decided THAT is what he wants and wanted to know how to get "IT".
So he and his buddy interviewed hundreds of "Marriage Masters" (including us, but we were only married 38 years at the time and so did not make the "cut".). Their definition of Marriage Masters were people who were married more than 40 years. They put the stories, advice from these folks from all across the country into their book. It is a very cool project and a good read. I have not seen their video or gotten to attend any of their lectures, but I would love to see them again and visit.
I will definitely look that up, thanks.
