There are a couple of young bachelors from Oregon that have done a book, a video and now are lecturing on Project Everlasting. You can google that and find out more about it, but in a nutshell, one of them watched his grandparents holding hands and still being really in love after many, many years of marriage. He looked around and decided THAT is what he wants and wanted to know how to get "IT". So he and his buddy interviewed hundreds of "Marriage Masters" (including us, but we were only married 38 years at the time and so did not make the "cut".). Their definition of Marriage Masters were people who were married more than 40 years. They put the stories, advice from these folks from all across the country into their book. It is a very cool project and a good read. I have not seen their video or gotten to attend any of their lectures, but I would love to see them again and visit.

I can only make them glow: green, flames or blue, I haven't figured out how to customize the color.

I believe that is done using <edit> <Stroke (Outline) Selection>. Use "outside".

Today is Jamie's 16th birthday. Took her at 7:15 a.m. this morning to get her driver's license. She will be driving to dance all by herself in her little Neon in the next hour. Here's one of her latest pics:

That is a reall cool shot. The "negative" effect can be done using the INVERT filter in PSE ...

Here is the quick and dirty version of the name bar. You have to use multiple layers to get it to work, and the order makes a difference.

EDIT: HMMM apparently flickr doesn't like .png files as it added the black splotches beind the name, which don't show in the original.

No, she is actually going to New York City on May 18th with the drill team from high school for their "trip". They are taking dance classes from some well known studio there and have tickets to see Chicago.

At least I won't have to worry about any parties at the house while I am gone (although she is a great kid and has a 3.85 GPA and is an overachiever, so no worries about wild parties!)

so what batteries (rechargable) are the best and is it possible to recharge too long too much?

With the restrictions on packing rechargable batteries in luggage, we are thinking of going with standard bats....avoids the issues and saves on the converter. Not very green, but until we can get all the various agencies to cooperate (airline safety etc) it is our plan at present.
