Our 40 years will be in 2037 - and I'll be 83!!!! John will be 76! Wow!!!

She is sending them. She actually called to day to change it so they would come to me directly, but they said it was too late because they finished them yesterday.

I can't wait to be married 40 years!

There are a couple of young bachelors from Oregon that have done a book, a video and now are lecturing on Project Everlasting. You can google that and find out more about it, but in a nutshell, one of them watched his grandparents holding hands and still being really in love after many, many years of marriage. He looked around and decided THAT is what he wants and wanted to know how to get "IT". So he and his buddy interviewed hundreds of "Marriage Masters" (including us, but we were only married 38 years at the time and so did not make the "cut".). Their definition of Marriage Masters were people who were married more than 40 years. They put the stories, advice from these folks from all across the country into their book. It is a very cool project and a good read. I have not seen their video or gotten to attend any of their lectures, but I would love to see them again and visit.

Today is Jamie's 16th birthday. Took her at 7:15 a.m. this morning to get her driver's license. She will be driving to dance all by herself in her little Neon in the next hour. Here's one of her latest pics:

Palo brunch, private dining confirmed for Tuesday 5/13 10:30AM for the 'Jackie' contingent.

Susie, Mouguett @ DCL cancelled you booking that you made the other day. Cheri, you and I will have to 'trade' our spots at dinner that night! Or we could let our tablemates decide who they would like to have join them in our place. Lord knows I couldn't do brunch and dinner the same day!

Michelle....we got your mom's birthday so she will have a wonderful 76th birthday celebration!

Someone mentioned in the last thread that they had a Palo's reservation for brunch at the same time as the "private dining room" group.

After you get on board, go by Palo's and request to be at the tables right outside the dining room. They did that for us on the last PC cruise and we had 14 in the private room and another 10 or 12 dis'ers right outside so we were all kinda together. It worked out really kewl!
