I've got a sad mission at dinner time, we are taking dinner to the family of one of our elders at church tonight. He passed away last week. He is one of the men in my life that has always been a constant. It was a strange feeling when I learned he passed. He was just a bit younger than my parents so I never figured he would go so soon. Sometimes people that touch your life as a child stay in that age in your mind. Prays for Browning Smith, who will forever be in his 40's in my mind.

Paul said I could go, but I think I shouldn't, I still have so much to get done before we leave so unless I have a world wind freezy and get everything done I think I'll be with you in spirit only.

Mr Racer boy (& Dad) will be at the track, this weekend (to practice for the next IKF race on 5/2), next weekend for a club race and the following weekend for the IKF race...

Well, I see I am not alone. The first PC cruise I shot 4300 pictures and 6 hours of video. Here's what I am bringing:

Canon 1D Mk II
24-70L Lens
70-200 Lens
1.4x Converter
Flash
Monopod
Olympus Stylus 1030 Digital camera (takes pictures & video underwater up to 33 feet)

Sensor cleaning supplies - There was a ton of dust on my sensor last cruise, and I didn't have anything to clean it with....

Canon video camera

Batteries, batteries, batteries..
Chargers, extension cords...

Laptop with external storage for backup.

We'll see if I can surpass the number (and quality) of pics since my last cruise.

gosh - several of you have answered so I think I shall just pack and go. I am not comfortable with the digital so my standby Minolta and the lenses (26, 85, and 250 zoom. I'll leave the 850 fixed and 50 at home) plus the extra body and the flash and tripod????

Should I do this now or can it be done when we are there. Probably will be Supershuttle.

I say do it there, if you do it now they charge your card, but if you wish to pay it all off then that is the way to go...don't forget the reservation you give it to the driver as proof of payment
