I had a truly horrible day today. I never even left my desk for lunch. It was 1:00 PM and I was dragging my lunch from meeting room to meeting room.
My team is under tight and unrealistic deadlines. I never got to do any of my own work today because I had to pitch in and help my guys meet our time goals.
To make matters worse, I had a steady stream to visitors to my desk making demands. I thought I was going to have to start administering slap-therapy.
On a lighter note, this evening was was Mrs. Fezziwig's (the Smart Car) first visit to Costco.
We held our breath. Among other things we bought toilet paper. You know how big those are at Costco. Plus a lot of other shopping. Wheeling the car out to the parking lot, we realized this was going to be Mrs. F's moment of truth, and the moment whether we felt really stupid or not.
Mrs. F behaved like a champ. A true lady, she can be very deceiving because she alway arranges herself in a slimming pose.
I am very pleased to say that it all fit in Mrs. Fs cargo space. We also stopped at the supermarket (Jewel of course) and fit some more in.
Mrs. Fezziwig did us proud (Plus she stopped traffic in the Costco and Jewel parking lots)
