ok, I need ideas for a main dish for our spring luncheon, we are doing a ham, but for those that don't eat ham we were thinking a turkey but everyone nixed that as we have no way to keep it warm? Any ideas?

Why not a WW crockpot recipe. You can kill two birds with one stone. dwlz.com has a few good ones. How are you keeping the ham warm?

I was wonder where are you last weekend? Anyway, I am fine and got the date for funeral. It is on this Thursday.

So, everybody please keep your fingers crossed that Tyler doesn't get kicked out of spring break day care at the school this week. He was already kicked out of the after school care last Thurs and was also not allowed to attend the first day of spring break care on Fri. I'm on pins & needles all day here and jump whenever the phone rings! The teacher told me she thinks he'll do fine because it's LESS structured. Um.....LACK of structure is where he goes wacky!

FINGERS CROSSED EVERYBODY! I do have a back up for this week. My friend back home is off all week and offered to watch him if he gets kicked out, BUT she's an hour and a half away, so I'm really hoping I don't have to use that option. Dang kid!

do kids get Hep A as a series in the US??? No slapping today, it's monday I'm off.

Help, maybe I have to go back and double check but nurse gave me the list for cruise which dont need , do need but no for us to have an injection.

Saw him in concert....forget his name though (the one that sings that song).

My first concert...probably was John Denver, but I will have to call my parents to double check. Bruce was great last night. I went with my sister and we got to thinking how cool my parents were taking all 6 of us to so many concerts. Mind you "cool" was Barry Manilow, John Denver, Air Supply...saw all of them MANY times. Trying to think of others but names are escaping me.

I can't believe how soon this cruise is coming. My dining room table is has stacks all over it. I am going to go through the kids clothes again today to pick out there special clothes. I think I am just about done buying clothes...I'm bummed they won't have brand new outfits every day (as I usually try to do with vacations) but 15 days! That would be a whole new wardrobe.

We are having the laundry debate - whether to bring enough clothes to cover all days or plan on doing laundry. I know we all have talked about this a lot. For me, I don't do laundry at home so not sure why I would want to do it on vacation. I HATE laundry. Everything about it. Not sure why...maybe some traumatic childhood thing...or maybe just plain lazy.

Anyway, figure I'd rather bring extra clothes and bring all the laundry home to get washed. Anyone else avoiding the laundry room?

I feel a bit silly having 100 pins now. Not sure what the kids will do with them all. Obviously they all can't fit on their lanyard. Do you think they will be giving out Castaway Club lanyards? We could have some "dummy" ones that are just used for trading. How is everyone else handling the extra pins they bought from Mousepinsonline (or something like that)?

Is anyone going to allow their children to swim in the goofy pool without them there? My 10 year old is really pushing to allow him and his brother (8) to be able to go to the Goofy pool as one of their areas they can go to together. DH and I are not going for it right now.

I am going to really try to catch up now. Miss my DISing!

I was a life guard for a while, and I think I have seen too much. Also, my DH brother drowned at 19, so I won't let DD go without someone watching... And since I adore her, it can be me!

Here, we fill out a form saying where we are going and what we are doing and give it to our Health Unit. The Health nurse then looks at where you are going and gives you recommendations on what shots you should/could take.

Our Health Nurse said that she would recommend the Hep A shots and the girls all have their tetanus shots up to date.

So today is Hep A shots for everyone.

I got mine last week. DW is scheduled for this week. DS has ten year check scheduled next week and we will discuss with pediatrician. Was not fun for me, I bruise very easily.

I am so excited....the theacher who was Samantha's ballet teacher has opened her own studio and company. (the other studio ended up folding)They have summer camp, but we won't be enrolling until the fall....now I need a second job to pay the rates!

Delta Update... I sent email to Delta about the baggage. This is there exact reply.

Due to rising fuel costs and business decisions reflecting today?s competitive landscape, Delta will begin charging $25 for a second checked bag for Domestic passengers traveling on or after May 1st. This fee and baggage limitation affect non medallion members travelling on a economy ticket.

SkyMiles Medallion members, as yourself, and First/Business Class passengers will be exempt from this fee and will continue to be allowed to check up to 2 bags at no additional charge.

Also, we do offer an exception for Medallion members and First/ Business Elite customers. Please keep in mind that this is not a rule, but an exception that may be subject to availability and weight restrictions on the flight that you are on. This exception is for Delta aircraft only.

This exception will allow each passenger that falls into the above mentioned category, one additional piece of baggage at no charge and an exemption from the overweight fee for each bag that is 51-70 lbs.

Rarely does the weight and baggage issue keep us from offering this 3rd checked bag exception but, please be aware that it is possible.

Sounds like he is a little broken down and needs his mom. Good thing you are such a good mother to your kids! How wonderful that they have you.

I wouldn't worry. I asked the doctor and she said don't do it and then I asked Jon's aunt who is the travel writer for LA TIMES and she said not to worry. You are closer than me so I wouldn't worry.

V- I asked my sister, who works for a pediatric interneral medicine doc. As long as DD was caught up on everything, they said no extra shots required. I will tell you at my last checkup, they made ME get a tetnus shot. So it had been 30 years, what's the problem...
