Goodmorning all from the stormy west! Well, I went to a parent mtg last night to one of our 4 perspective schools for kindergarten. It is the most expensive at $15K with an additional $2 of giving and uniforms UGH! While this school really interferes with my cruising, it was fantastic. I've taught drug ed at the school for 7 years and I learned all kinds of stuff I didn't know about it. 22 openings for 133 apps Came back and the dis was gone. Did anything important happen? I'll repost the dismeets and change the post listings in my signature. PS: we have 3 more storms coming our way this weekend.

I know....we just had a visit from the TF last night for Taylor and she asked for the money to go into her cruise box....the girls are being so great at saving up money for the cruise!

OH, I forgot to tell you that the news has been interviewing all the tourists who are in town to visit DL. So many people showed up here without jackets and nothing more than sandals. UGH.

excursions - thinking of the Seahorse Catamaran Snorkel Adventure, and parasailing on CC, Horseback riding in ACA (Nan, is Molly going to be joining me? we'll need to coordinate times), the Canopy Adventure in PVR, and the Harbor Cruise and Scenic drive in Cabo.

Your excursions sound great Monica. I wish I had the adventure ability and I would do some of the ones with you. But I'm older now and some things hurt and I'm not as mobile as I used to be. Youth, wasted on the young. I know you'll take lots of pics and I want to see all of them.

Dismeet 5/9/08 night before the cruise

OK, I found us a Dismeet for the night before the cruise at DTD. This is the place we can also distribute the lanyards. Guest relations helped me to set up a meeting for 4:30pm at the Dockside Stage across from the World of Disney. Each person/family can pick up food from any location in DTD and bring it to the Dockside stage and we can eat, meet and greet. PM me if you'd like to come and tell me how many in your party. We'll have about 90 min. to visit with each other before they set up for a 6:30 performance. I will keep in touch with the management at DTD to find out what the performance will be and to let them know how many of us will be there. Here is the map. World of Disney is number 28 and the stage is near the number 42. We'll see how well you can read this on the post. Thanks, Kelly

Deb - believe me...I have aches and pains...2 knee surgeries waiting on a 3rd, fear of heights, motion sickness issues....BUT I will not let those things stop me!!! (or I will die trying!)

I have heard tho that you can't take a camera w/ you on the canopy adventure (fear of it falling, or strap getting caught)

Hi Kelly.....don't change anything yet.....this is only a temporary 24 hour alternate. We're going back to our old thread at 11pm tonight......supposedly. I would just wait till then and see what happens.

Maybe someone watching can take a pic of you doing the canopy.....it it's set up that way. Maybe they will have pros take pics of you....you never know. That's got to be a great shot that you would want to keep.

Oh I am sure they have professionals follow you and video you the whole time...and then try and sell it to you for lots of money! I hope they take some still pics too....video not so sure I would want, but a pic would be cool. So far I know it is Scott, Lisa & I going on the one(Monica we will miss you), maybe I'll try and bring a small cheapie disposable camera and see if we can sneak it with us and get some pics. Does shutters develop film?

A couple of weeks before the med repo a bunch of folks from Orlando got together had a big dismeet party and made a banner to hang over the side of the ship. My dad took these pictures.
