How could I forget to say this.....I got my pre-planning kit today!! Actually I got 2 but I'm not complaining--I'll save 1 for scrapbooking :thumbsup2

So for us repeat cruisers - we can start booking stuff 2 weeks from today or tomorrow??

Midnight Sat the 9th on the east coast. Sat at 9pm for us west coasters.

Oh no, I hope not.....they looked shredded....it was magnet paper.

Whooo hoooo!:goodvibes

I don't think the magnet paper is as strong as say a refrigerator magnet would be so not probably not as bad either. But I would keep an eye on him for 24 hours or so to be on the safe side. (My parents have Akita's - they will eat anything! So we've all done the watch and see on various occasions!)

I can't get our tv to channel today. It's stuck on HGTV. :confused3: I think we may need some new batteries for the remote. No triple A's to be found around the house today. :sad2:

I'm multi-tasking....watching "Cruising Do's and Don'ts" on the Travel Channel (catching a few glipses at DCL ships (not sure which one)), and trying to pick up/find new places for all the stuff in my scrapbooking room that at this moment are taking up spaces on the tables and floor. Oh yes - I'm also DISing:thumbsup2

Thanks Lisa - luckily I won't have to get up too early on Sunday :lmao: . Need to mark this on my calendar in big red letters!

So now guess what's happened. Poor Tyler just can't get a break. I shared this with Jan last night, but not here yet. It's not life threatening, but on top of everything else going on with Tyler at once, it just doesn't seem fair.

OK...I think I mentioned a while back that we found out that his vision has completely shifted in the last year from being very farsighted to very nearsighted, and we're waiting for his new lenses to come in. But wait, there's more. Towards the end of the week, I got a voice mail from the occupational therapist at Tyler's school telling me she's been evaluating him and strongly recommends private occupational therapy (in addition to the help they can give him at school) because he's very far behind on his fine motor skills and it has a major effect on trying to write, obviously. OK...his dad and I will work that out, she recommended some places locally (in a letter she sent home that day), we can take care of that.

But wait, there's more. Yesterday I got a letter from the county health department telling me they did THREE hearing tests on Tyler, one a week for three weeks (the multiples were to verify the poor readings), and he has a significant lack of hearing in his right ear. Like I said, not life threatening, but yet another trip to the doctor for follow up.

No wonder he's so frustrated when almost nothing works right on his body. :sad1: I know it could be worse...because he is VERY healthy..doesn't even get colds almost every (one a year at most), but so many things shouldn't be going wrong all at once.

I'm going to do my best, to make sure he has an awesome time on this cruise because he sure does deserve it with all this crap being thrown at him.

Hollytyler

They just said that repo cruises are usually a good deal (not too expensive). I guess this must have been filled before DCL did the 1st PC cruise in 2005 :rotfl:

Sorry to complain so much, it's just that you've all been with us for this whole journey because really, all these things have come up during the life of this thread. I hate to whine, it's just so many things happening at once.

Now I really have to head out. I got distracted and was watching POC, eating lunch, etc. Have to shovel, shower, clean out the car, fix Bobby's leak, and make a stop on my way to the jewelry party in just over an hour. I'll catch you all tonight!

No worry maybe it is good for you to get out of your chest. I know how you feeling same I worry about my son Keith about dyparaxia too.

Enjoy the jewellery party, wish I be there as I love jewellery:thumbsup2

I am staying home and watch tv and use the laptop too.

Have a quiet night
