Goodnight everybody! I plan on sleeping until noon tomorrow, but if I happen to wake up earlier, I'll be back here in the morning! Jewelry party at 2:00, and I want to try to find and repair Bobby's leak before the party so he can make it through the event. Yup, Bobby gets to be a jewelry model! (I can hear him whimpering over in the corner in fear).

He is not wimpering in fear--he is a GOOD SPORT. What he is doing is wheezing a bit as a result of the COLD WEATHER he experienced here and at your house.

Good luck on finding the leak. I had no success and tried several times. Will you put him in the bathtub perhaps? and if you find it, what kind of bandaid will you use?

Let us know how the party goes!
Did anyone do a DCL party? How did that work? I had no idea how to get involved in the one in Indy--no contact info or anything......

HAHA Well we do need to set up a Dis shopping meet. You know so we can try things on and get honest opinions on how they look. Can't trust the mens opinion. We could do a little shopping and have lunch up this way. Yes I am thinking aloud. I think we all should have a Napa Valley Dis meet. Hmmm will think on that more after I get back. I am off to teach some scouts about recycling.

Sounds good. Lets plan one in feb. Now the big question with or without kids?

oh, I don't think I posted about Tebow and him being a bad bad boy.....
I had our name magnets on the dining room table....they are like block letters with Jack Sparrow in John's Tink in Haley's etc. He helped himself to them and SHREDDED THEM ALL - well except for mine. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? He is in time out.

I'm off to find Bobby's leak and try to patch it, then to clean out my car because Tyler told me he doesn't want Bobby to have to sit in our messy car, then to a jewelry party, then to pick Tyler up from his dad's. I heard a rumor that Tyler had a great day at school Thursday, so if he also did well Friday, I'm going to surprise him with Chuck E. Cheese or Caesarland when I pick him up tonight!

Caesarland?

I have visions of waiters and waitresses in togas, columns like Rome, mountains that errupt like Vesuvius and all meals a version of the Caesar salad.....

Sorry. I wish I could help you but I took this in 2006 and have now forgotten where it was (reason to #7892 to do a Disney cruise again). I do know it was one of the first pics I took snorkelling so it has to be fairly close to the "front" and I started off closer to the "swimming" area so it has to be in that "quadrant".

Most of the time when I was snorkelling I was just going whereever without paying much attention to where I was going. I just kinda went with the flow (sometimes literally cause it was windy).

I know I never found the Mickey statue that I wanted to get a pic of, so that is reason #5 for going again

We always enter over by the life vest pick up side so will try your quadrant sometime. Thanks!

We were in Cat. 1 for a previous cruise (loved!). Way not in a Cat. 1 for this one!!! If we could have afford a Cat. 1 for this one, I probably would have no worries!!! We have two cat. 9, connecting.

I did think of your thought...the problem is I'm celebrating my 40th and I'm not sure how DH would feel if I wasn't with him. And I would miss him I think...I have taken trips away, but only about 4-5 days. And he probably would go crazy missing the boys that long (there still real young, ages 2-10). But I am giving it some thought as I really want to go and have this experience for both myself and the kids....arg..

Isn't someone else going for just part of the trip and getting off and flying home in ACA? Would your DH consider that?

I just booked disneyland March 7th and 8th! It's just going to be me and my aunt. We are going because her daughter is in the cheerleading nationals but thats only one day for about an hour! I'm excited to go without my daughter and just do the park with another adult! No begging to buy stuff and eating a bunch of crap! We're staying at Paradise Pier (my favorite hotel). If anyones going to be down let me know. As soon as I have the cheer schedule, I can plan to meet some of you.
I'm still going to try to come to the april meet. I'm waiting for the Webb School timeline to see if I can drive down and back in time!

Nemo here I come! Haven't done that ride yet!

I just got a call from House Party--I won one of the 4 night cruises--for 4, air included! (the host sweepstakes)


OMG, I'm in shock!

Congratlation!!! That is so exciting. Our house party is at 5 tonight and I will have my computer upstairs dor people to enter the guest contest. (since most are family). Maybe they will win!!! You need to play bingo on the ship.

So now guess what's happened. Poor Tyler just can't get a break. I shared this with Jan last night, but not here yet. It's not life threatening, but on top of everything else going on with Tyler at once, it just doesn't seem fair.

OK...I think I mentioned a while back that we found out that his vision has completely shifted in the last year from being very farsighted to very nearsighted, and we're waiting for his new lenses to come in. But wait, there's more. Towards the end of the week, I got a voice mail from the occupational therapist at Tyler's school telling me she's been evaluating him and strongly recommends private occupational therapy (in addition to the help they can give him at school) because he's very far behind on his fine motor skills and it has a major effect on trying to write, obviously. OK...his dad and I will work that out, she recommended some places locally (in a letter she sent home that day), we can take care of that.

But wait, there's more. Yesterday I got a letter from the county health department telling me they did THREE hearing tests on Tyler, one a week for three weeks (the multiples were to verify the poor readings), and he has a significant lack of hearing in his right ear. Like I said, not life threatening, but yet another trip to the doctor for follow up.

No wonder he's so frustrated when almost nothing works right on his body. I know it could be worse...because he is VERY healthy..doesn't even get colds almost every (one a year at most), but so many things shouldn't be going wrong all at once.

I'm going to do my best, to make sure he has an awesome time on this cruise because he sure does deserve it with all this crap being thrown at him.

Poor Tyler, I hope things turn around for him. Don't feel bad for venting we are all friends here.

So a couple hours ago there is a knock at the door. A guy says he is trimming our neighbors trees and bushes. Wants to know if we want our yard done. Knowing what was coming from previous quotes (with a low of $1,700) I asked how much. He walks the property and says $350. SOLD!!!!

Imagine our yard is 14,ooo sq ft, which in AZ is a decent size. We have over 25 Queen Palms, 15 other types of Palms, 6 mexican birds of paradise, 14 hibiscus, 10 bougainvillea, at least 20 lantana, 22 creeping figs, probably 15 other various plants, and grass in the front, side and back yards (yes, sad that I know all the plants - but we put them all in). In other words, THIS GUY IS CRAZY!
