What Gauntlet???

That's not a bad picture!

You haven't seen bad, and mine is not scanned, and Amy does not know how to even scan.

Yeah, well I didn't mind posting it so I didn't have anything to lose! Now let's see yours! (don't take that the wrong way;) )

I'm trying to scan my picture... I have to find the instructions...

I just went into my mom's room to ask if she had the picture and she kept arguing with me that I should show them a NEW picture of me...not the 25 year old one.... :rotfl2: (she thought we were sharing pictures so we could recognize each other on the cruise...)

Ok so I have had a very rough day. I had to teach childrens church this morning but didn't sleep well last night. The childrens church is very unorganized and the kids are nuts. I won't be doing it anymore after April. Then, I was walking around the house today thinking I really want to go to the MK. I fell down the steps. Yes thats right, I was walking along and some how one foot went out in front of me and the other under me.:rotfl2: I am ok, a little sore. Dh came made sure I was ok and laughed at me. I learned to to walk near step day dreaming of Disney. I took a nap and DH took me out to dinner.

Also wanted to give :grouphug: to anyone who needs them.

Glad to hear you are ok and not really hurt!

WOO HOO LOOK 1200 posts OMG !!!

Ok don't know who had it in their sig anymore but now I am consumed with filling out the Mouse Manager - never had seen it before but it is what I needed to put all my info for the WDW part of this trip in one place plus all my other info like airfare, trip insurance, etc.

Thanks for the info! I do not know where I have been to miss this cool thing!

For our work last year, we posted everyone's graduation picture in the lounge about this time...well, maybe not until May (graduation time). It was a big hit - everyone loved seeing each's other pictures. We also posted all holiday family photos - people had to guess who the little child with Santa was. Lots of fun.

Off to bed. Haven't had many changes to make to the Fish team list. I know more people are a part of the lanyard team, and your names will be added. I think the gifts are all going to be great hits!

Good-night,
Lisa

Ian, would you like to explain where Mouse Manger came from?

What is "playing" Yu-gi-oh? I just figured they messed around with the cards. Do they duel with them like on the tv show. Do you win the cards from other players?? I'm sure Wilson will be happy to hear of your son playing too. Remind me of his name again.

I think his son's name is Cameron.

:lmao: :confused3

I'm telling you I'll pay handsomely if you get them to do their homework....

Me too Me too!

This could work...

How do you see it? I'm thinking a 45-60 min. "study hall" type thing--kids bring their assignments, I supervise, answer questions, help them, etc. How many times/sessions do you think we'd need to do this?

Anyone else interested?

Long weekend for us. I'm headed to bed early.

Molly did another booth today at Trader Joe's then during our scout meeting we worked on the Walking for Fitness badge and she dislocated her knee while doing cool down stretches. It went back in pretty quickly (before I could get to her) but it was scary nonetheless. So long afternoon and we are tired...

Night all.

Trader Joe's must be a good spot eh? Will have to remember that next year! :thumbsup2 Hope Molly's knee is feeling better. That is scary to have happen. When Jacinda was little she had what they called Nursemaid's elbow. It would pop out part of the way and that was followed by her screaming in pain and then one quick pop and it was back in and not hurting, but the brief moments it was out she was terrified. I was so glad when she outgrew that!

Hey nan I donated to lock of love about 5 years ago. used to have really long hair, down to my butt...mostly because I was lazy and just never got it cut. Then I braided it and cut it off. I won't let it get that long again.

jacinda grows her hair out dang near every year. It grows really fast and she grows it to her butt then cuts it off to her shoulders. She has done this several times now. She really does not like it really long or really short. Kinda like me somewhere in the middle looks best I think.

Nan...

Sorry to hear about Molly's knee...

Hope she feels better soon!!!

Just dropped by to say "Hello and Welcome to all of the newcomers". All is well with us except my husband has been called on short notice for knee surgery. He has been waiting for a year and 8 months since he felt from a ladder staining the peak of our house. He will be in a full leg cast for 8 weeks. His surgery is March 4 and we leave for our vacation on May 2. He will get his cast off right before our vacation. Sure hope all goes well.

Not sure what new is happening on the discussion board. Just can't keep up with it.

We are interested in having our girls do the Secret Mickey with other girls. Not sure who to contact though. Anyone have any ideas who is in charge of this?

Also, the girls wanted to chat with the other children but we can't seem to get on from the website. I saw where it talked about it but couldn't get any further. I had submitted my email address for them to use when talking with the children.

We are interested in joining a group for the gift giving so will get a PM sent to the appropriate person this week.

Looks like everyone is getting their shore excursions and Palo reservations made. We are happy to have ours done.

Take care.

I don't know very much about it (Yu-gi-oh), even though I have watched him play. He does local tournaments. He "duels" just like the tv show, but does not play in games where cards are won from other players. The people that put on the tournaments here, realized that older kids were taking the good cards from the younger or less experience players, so they stopped that. Trading can only take place if the event organizer oversees the trading.

I have not seen the Pokeman card game played, but he has the cards and a book about. Cameron said he would play/teach a simplified version, just so new players could begin to get the hang of it, he is still learning about the system. And I do know that he does like just to sit around and compare cards if that is what your son would like to do.
