and yes, I am so special, I got the pot pie at dinner......!
I know I usually put them in a carry on, but since it's a nonstop flight, I thought maybe it would be safe enough that my luggage won't get lost.
Do you think I should put them in plastic bags and keep them in my carry on bag still? I have lots and lots of them that are all in one a medicine bag.
What do you think?
Mickey dice??
Gotta resize the image - hang on![]()
We usually have a deck or two of cards (I even have a deck in camera bag) and the dice w/yahtzee score pad as well. I think we have Mille Borne in the bag too.
This time I'm not sure what we'll bring. I might bring Bang! cards and possibly the Pass the Pigs game too. Carcassonne might find it's way into the luggage as well as it should be simple enough to bag it up and go.
We already have our puppy scheduled at the vet/kennel - for us it is $12 a day so that times 21 days - $252 - not bad - they love our dog and she loves going there (we travel often). I booked the space back in January because it is over Memorial day weekend and it fills up fast!
All of this talk about people staying before the cruise and people staying after the cruise is really bumming me out (yes, that's what I said, I graduated high school in the very early 1970's)
I wish I could either get some time before the cruise or even better, a few days afterwards to go to DL. I could not swing that with work, I haven't asked, but I don't think I could swing it. People are shocked that I'm going to be gone from work for 2 weeks.

Another child of the '70s!
I think we should all bring our high school year books and have a time warp party.
2 dogs, 1 turtle, 1 rabitt = petsitter...$40+ per day![]()
Hi Amy, that's a brilliant idea. Thank you so much for sharing. I can definitely do this and it makes good sense to me also. Thanks for solving that dilema!
Yep - only my wedding and engagement ring. Though I do bring some jewelry for the cruise - mostly earrings and they all fit in a container thats probably 4 x 4 x 2.
what is a PK? I also figured out your son's name, D'oh!
How about 1978 - but you are NOT getting to see my yearbook - man - brings back some bad memories!

I've never put my meds in baggies. They're in those weekly pill thingys and I just leave them in my carry on. I've never had a problem doing that. But in Jan. when my nephew and I flew to LA to go to DL, I had a bottle of kids' cold medicine in my carry on. I didn't even think about it. I guess they saw it in the X-ray and opened my bag to see what it was. They didn't take it away, just told me I should have kept it out for them to see.
We're bring Skip-Bo and Phase 10 cards. It's nice to know we're not the only ones who play cards on cruises![]()
I can't bring mine, I was co-editor and the staff had fun writing in my copy as I graduated a semester early, spend the second semester working and only came around to do the YB after work each day. So they had fun including all the inside jokes from that year in the YB office/dark room, before I came in the that afternoon to hand them out to the students.Oyva! It does bring back the memories, but 16-18 years olds can have one track minds, lol.
