ABSOLUTELY!!!!! Makes you wonder if they are expressing their morals or advertising!!!
Also I forgot that the jingle for the beer ad is 'I can feel a Four X coming on!'!!!!!

We spoke to our 4th grade's teacher today and broke the news of the cruise.* She was great.* We talked about making a powerpoint presentation on the panama canal, and we might tie in information on the Gold Rush, as that is what he is studying.* Does anyone have any plans on having their kids do a report?* I was thinking that it would be fun for them to do a group project.* So any 4th graders that might be interested, let me know!* We are telling our kids on Easter.* After Easter, for whoever is interested, maybe they can start to do a little research before the cruise?* I can take responsiblity of the power point.* All the kids could then use the same one.* Figure we can try to finish a lot of it before the cruise, and then add pictures from the cruises.* I'm on my 4th day of the juice fast/feast thing.* Not sure what to say about it at this point. I think sometimes people put results in white or something so that if people want to read, they can highlight it.

On other boards, I've seen people add a warning before giving away the ending, such as:

I do a run/walk combo and we have said that we would organize a group who wants to meet to run/walk deck 4. We'll organize that a little closer to the cruise. You are welcome to join if you are a morning person

We think they will show prince caspian, but not confirmed yet..unless i missed something on our 6 threads!

Our experience has been that if a Disney movie is released while you are on a cruise it is shown on the ship.

I lasted only 2 mornings getting up with the kids. This morning I woke them and told them to get me after they ate breakfast and got dressed...yes I took them to school in my jammies and bathrobe. Came home and slept until 9:30. I HATE MORNINGS, except on VACATION!!! Then I wake up at the crack of dawn...funny huh?

I've got a 5th grader who will have to do one too. He had to present a power point last week on a 3 month project so he's familiar with the program. It would be great to share pictures, at the very least. I also need to get on the ball finding books. We told the 1st graders' teachers this week but not the 5th, I'm a little concerned about the amount of work he'll have to bring. The good thing is that his school has immersion week one of the weeks we're gone so his PC report can count for that.

I was just talking about this the other day.....dreaming of this cruise has gotten me through some pretty rough/stressful times over the last year....what am I going to do when I don't have this to plan anymore

Will probably have to do that!Ok, I feel like I am on LOST right now....I posted 3 posts and only 2 showed up...the middle one is lost somewhere in cyberworld I remember it had something to do with the project and how Liserann's 4th grader would probably want to join in as well...and that having a similar template for the kids to work from would be great....and that Jaide did a powerpoint last year so she is somewhat familiar with the program...we'll see if it shows up at some point?!

Well, I would love the morning, if I didn't love the night so much. As you can see....it's 1:30 AM over here in georgia, and it is my best time for getting stuff done. Partly cause it's my best time, and partly cause it is the only quiet time in the house....4 kids I homeschool, a hubby, 4 horses, and a dog.
AND THEY ARE ALL ASLEEP NOW....so it's my best time!

You have to have another one booked! We are booked for Jan 2009, the first St Croix sailing. That makes it easier.

Same here, except when there is a mix up.

DW was onboard the Magic when "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" was released. Somehow the ship was missing one film reel. They announced they might not be able to show the movie. But fortunately they were able to get the missing reel at one of the ports.
