john2 is now officially posting as gatorjohn.....
john1 - are you ready for some March Madness?

Took me an hour and a half to clear snow tonight. That was AFTER I had to fix the blower.

John - you use a snow thrower? We must be a hardy bunch here in Chicago! I was out at 5:00 AM today with my shovel and a bucket salt.

Then after I finished shovelling the snow, I milked the cows, slopped the hogs (or is that slapped the hogs), helped the neighbors with a barn raising, and then walked 10 miles to school, where I had to chop 75 cords of wood to stoke the stoves to get up a good head of steam to power the wood burning laptops!

Well ... maybe I just shoveled the snow, and I did use only a shovel and then salted the side walk.

Admittedly, I only do the front sidewalk, and that's only about 25 feet. But, was out there at 5:00 AM and it was all handcrafted Chicago shoveling!

I stopped by Macys on the way home. Got a pair of crocs to match Venitia's and a pair of the standard Beaches style in red on sale for $15! :woohoo: Love half price. I did pay full price for the black slip ons. I am so looking forward to wearing them to work tomorrow!

:thumbsup2 I wore mine to work today and I have to say I Love them. I even took a walk at lunch to give them a work out and was pleasantly surprised. I now have to go back to Macy's to see if they have the half price ones. ;)

I am sure v will be out here more than me....now that she has an extra computer...maybe I can research my fantasy team come football season without being pushed out by the disney boards.....and she hasn't signed me up for anything crazy has she/ although I would expect it.

No salting allowed here in Orygun. Not good for the environment they say. :confused3

They were on a separate rack across they way.:thumbsup2

lost our second game 5-2, I was 3-4 tonight, but am pissed the guy in front of me made an out every time

Is everyone staying at a DL hotel. We are staying at Candy Cane Inn since we will only be there one day.I am thinking in 2009 going to DL, SW, USH, and seeing California in general.

We are staying at the Best Western Park Place Inn for our stay in DL. Walking through DTD (especially WOD) every night after the parks was just too scary on the pocket book.

Im not sure who is doing the "ship of thieves "
logo shirts but could someone pass it on that im hoping they will offer the baseball shirts as well. i really like the way those look and am looking to buy some. both adult and kid sizes.
thanks and goodnight

You can grab the graphics from PJ's Ship of Thieves website and put it on any of the items Cafe Press offers. Actually, is there still a typo on the Cafe Press items? :confused3 Last time I checked, "thieves" was spelled wrong. If you order the shirts, I think they will have the typo. To be safe, I would take the graphic from PJ's site and make a custom shirt on the Cafe Press site.

Send a pm to PJ Poohbear if you need access to the website.

forgot ask the question for Calfornia people:

What the weather like in May as I have been told that the weather will be cold when we arrive LA?

What is the temperature for May? As I need to know for packing as we are staying there for 3 nights.

Thanks

I wore t-shirts and shorts the whole time we were there in May of 2005.

We went swimming at the quiet cove pool in DLH (we foudn it was nicer than the Neverland pool as it wasn't as "congested").

Here is a pic from outside our hotel room at the DLH.

Gee looking at that last pic makes it hard to believe how fast they grow. This is the pic of the same two little girls from just this past Sunday:

You must be kidding . . .

Genius BAR, Genius BAR . . . NOT Table!

Oh yeah, making those guys wear black pants and white shirts with pocket protectors and driving a new bug that looks like a police car is way cool? NOT.

I did not say they were attractive the name is better. Clearly the apple employees work in the mall, they hang with the beautiful people like the Abercrombies of the world. We wholeheartly admit Apple is sexy pc is not. I speak for the world you know...:rolleyes1

cast.....reelllllllllling you in all the way. did ya know I like to fish????:lmao:

Haley has the dress in the back ground - great pic!:thumbsup2

If he still has the hiccups, have him dump a packet of sugar (or about a teaspoon) as far back in his mouth as he can and then just swallow it. DrHug swears by this remedy and it has worked everytime that I know of. There is some scientific explaination for it, but :confused3 I married him so I would not have to remember that stuff. At one of the hospitals he worked at he convinced a nurse to try it on a patient that had the hiccups forever and it worked. Nurse and patient were amazed.

I WILL remember this. My mom and Molly have hicup issues!!!! And they both annoy me:mad:  :woohoo:

Here's a ? for the computer/techie/electronics gurus on here...

I am looking to get a piece of equipment that will allow me to transfer my cassettes (admit it...we all have those) to cds....can anyone help me???? (without breaking the bank)

I did it just by buying a wire that runs from my headphone jack to the inputs on my sound card and recording it in something simplelike Windows Media Player or another type of jukebox application. I also have a nother chord that can take the output jacks on my stereo (that usually go to your speakers) and plug those into my inputs on my sound card. I think both chords total were less than $20.
