This Morning, I was laughing when I opened the birthday card from my brother, it said Sister, I've planned a fun-filled cruise in the Mediterranean for your birthday, when I opened it and it said Can you water my plants while I'm away? with a cat dressed up tropical!!

Look like my family know I love Disney Cruise,

Anyway, today is my birthday, and I am going out with my 7 friends for lunch then go to bar for champagne.

I will be out all day until tonight.

Off for a while to go watch rented movies. Last night I rented "Georgia Rules" and "The Invasion". I have to watch lots of movies to get a scene out of my head from a movie I watched last Friday night. I think it was called "The Hitcher". If anybody's seen it, you'll know the scene towards the end involving the girl's boyfriend and the semi. Horror movies usually don't bother me, but I think that's the most disturbing image I've ever seen in a movie.

Did you watch the recent re-make, or the older version with Rutger Hauer? He makes the BEST bad guy...and that movie was just a too much for me to watch.

Now I'm thinking of naming my Chumby Mrs Bennett.

I screamed (with laughter) when I saw this!



well...so far I've managed to cook and eat breakfast, finish my book that I didn't finish last night...then fell asleep on the couch! Oy!

So far I had breakfast, showered, on my 4th load of laundry, and have run spy sweep and anti virus this morning. Caught about 15 bad guys! And, it's only 9:30 a.m.

Sorry DrHug - more of a Huntington Beach type of girl - I've only been here a couple of times -all those times by the pier to take soccer pictures although I did see this awesome surf shop with some nice placards - might have to go back there and check them out. Also, a lot of Jamba Juice, Cold Stone and Baskin Robbins as well as a Chicago type pizza place. The Italian restaurant was still closed else I would have stopped there. Oh yeah - the police satellite on the pier was interesting enough. When that happen?

I learned about a great Italian restaurant from another Disser in Huntington Beach called Mangia Mangia at Goldenwest and Edinger - it's our new favorite!

Yes, the port in Florida. I'm actually looking for someone south of the port, so I could beg them to leave a box there this coming week for our cruise in May. If I can't find someone south of the port, then I guess I could haul the stuff on the Wonder and then haul it back off and then bring over to Orlando. I see you are south of Orlando on mapquest? I am meeting friends from the U.K. (who we met on a Disney cruise) for dinner Sunday night and then flying out at 7 a.m. Monday morning. I just figured since I had some scrapbooking stuff ready to go I could take an extra suitcase now and leave in Florida.

I do have some friends in Orlando too, but I was hoping to get rid of the suitcase and not haul it on the ship and then back off since it will be HEAVY! (I'll probably put 50 lbs. in it so I don't have to ship later!)

I don't know. I didn't know it was a re-make, so I guess it's the new one. It was in the new release section at the video store, so probably was the re-make. It was yucky.

But I just finished "Georgia Rule" and LOVED it! Made me cry. I usually hate movies that make me cry, but needed it today. Been so down the last couple months, I just can't get out of this funk. I think the real reason for my tiredness all the time and not wanting to go out with friends, memory loss, etc. is due to how down I've been, but have been in denial. Just overwhelmed with lots of things in life right now and not coping very well. I don't think my limited county health plan has any type of coverage for seeking counseling or anything, so I'll try to just set up appointments with the pastor at church.

My mom might come to town tomorrow but I don't want her to see the state of my house. Her criticism will add to my frustration I'm sure. Trying to force myself to clean, but just want to be on the couch and cry instead. What the heck is wrong with me?!

OK.....that was TMI! Sorry. Please don't think I'm nutso....just going through a rough patch.

Holly, when I look back at our lives, out of the darkest times (and we all have them) good things have come that would never have happened had we not experienced those difficulties. Talk with you pastor and hang in there. All things pass........and then some new trouble replaces it.
