Here's the lace dress in blue, but I got it in pink. It's also good for a Palo meal.....I have brunch and tea so I need two dresses. This is one.

This is the new beach Tote bag that I got in blue.

I also got John another set of cuff links in a white medal not yellow. We'll see if he likes these. They're just the mickey head.

I like this dress too!

I thought I was going nuts because I lost two pairs of glasses and now I have just lost my reading glasses too. I thought I was going nuts.....but came to find out it was Angel, the dog, taking them off my living room table and bringing them outside and chewing them up everytime I went to the bathroom. It was out of spite because she was jealous because the cat always came into the bathroom with me and I would shut the door and keep Angel out. She has been taking my bags of cheerios too. She just started doing this to my stuff recently. She used to do it to John's stuff. Now she has switched over to taking mine. What an odd puppydog she is. She's so bad.
That is a bit funny! It reminds me of an episode of the Brady Bunch when Tiger (I think that was the dog's name?) took Cindy's doll and she blamed Bobby....Lisa

As mentioned, the Underground Tour is supposedly amazing...actually have never done it, but hope to some day. The Space Needle...just because it's there and if the weather is good the views are amazing. Pike Place Market...fun to walk around, see the flying fish, great cheese shops, arts and crafts. Woodland Park Zoo is a beautiful zoo, but nothing specific to Seattle. I would also head out I-90 to see Snoqualmie Falls...if you are going to have a car it is a 30-45 min ride out of Seattle and there is a small nice hike there. If you want more specific info or have questions, feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to help.

Do you know what the cost is to ride up to the top on the 'Needle'? We found discount breakfast coupons at our hotel, and the breakfast included the trip up. The breakfast with the coupons ended up being cheaper than the ride up. Soooo, if they still have coupons at the hotels, you may be able to save a buck or two. I like eating at the restaurant. Beautiful views as it rotates. We once saw rain, snow, sunshine all at the same time, in different quadrants looking out of the windows. It was awesome. We have eaten there a few times and the meals were always good, although I have heard complaints. But then, I am not that picky. LOL. Anything is better than what I had to eat in Vietnam. ROTFLOL.

If you see the locusts coming my way, will you please divert them?

In the last 14 hours we have had:
DD twist the huge iron dining room chandelier causing it to come crashing down (she is fine)

our overflow freezer defrost, ice cream and spaghetti sauce allover

the garage door spring explode and I'm pretty sure DH broke the door getting it up

If I weren't waiting for the repairman, I'd go back to bed and pull the covers over my head...

Oh lordy, here's a big :grouphug: for you!

Hmm....I wonder if anybody would notice if I watched "Lost" online here at work! :lmao:

My team mate did just that....we couldn't stand not being able to talk about it till she saw it! :lmao:

Dinghy Bats Suite ;)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: FUNNY! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

THE MAY 3RD GTYs JUST GOT THEIR CABIN ASSIGNMENTS!!!!!!!

(sorry if this has already been discussed. I can't keep up)

WHOOOOO HOOOOOO! Now we WILL all be checking daily, eh?

...break over, back to work!

.

We enjoyed visiting Pike Place Market, and the very first Starbucks across the street.

Had an excellent dinner at Brasserie Margaux. It was our favorite meal the entire trip. Absolutely delicious! MargauxSeattle

Yep. Pike Place Market is good, and the Monorail. Make sure you check the hours the Market is open. Depending on the time of year it is not always a good idea to be down there after dark if the Market is closed.

She does time out by being held on her leash in the house. But that doesn't deter her. She doesn't care. She'll just do what she wants and then do a time out. So what I started doing is paying more attention to her. I leave the bathroom door open and let her come in there and tell her to lay down and that she's being good and stay. She listens and since I can watch her, she can't take my stuff. It's been working since I tried doing it today. So far. We'll see.

Deb,

Do you ever wonder who is training who...??..:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao:

NO you don't! Then you'd start gaining weight like I have! :scared1: But I'm going to try to make today be the day I turn over a new leaf and start back at the gym. I say that lots, but will try today. And if I don't manage to come up with the motivation, I'll try again tomorrow and will keep on trying to force myself. It's bound to happen one of these days if I keep trying to set my mind to it. :thumbsup2

Hey Holly - if you need ANOTHER online buddy - I can be your exercise buddy - I need someone to remind me and ask me if I've done my exercise today. I have started with 2 10 minute walks throughout the day - aiming for 2 15 minute walks then trying to mush them together.

However, I did institute something in January that seems to have a small work in progress. I bought Ensure - yes the ones for nutrition and started having those for breakfast. I am NOT a breakfast eater. However, yesterday, I tried on a little black dress that DH bought me from Windsor in Dec - and it fit! So that was the only thing I had done at that moment. Now - I'm walking 3 times a week but I really need to get a pedometer to figure out how many steps I walk. I think they said it should = about 10,000 to be healthy.

I am about an hour from Olympia/Lacey. Neither Scott or I are :lovestruc with WA, but my practice is here, so for now, we are here....until we can move to warm and sunny all the time!

That's ok - it wasn't my favorite either until I left! :lmao: As for the beauty - can't complain on that.

Laura, I am in the South Bay area of L.A. Had to check several stores before finding the camera in stock.

You might try going back to the store that has it in stock, and have them check the stock number 056 10 0770. It should have a red tag with the stock number, saying: "WAS $299.99 / NOW $149.98." Tell them it's on clearance at other Target stores. Ask to speak with a manager. Good luck.

Woody

Woody - almost thought about doing that last night but it had started to rain and I just wanted to get home.

DD had a soccer game out in San Pedro - Mary Star by the Sea - how close are you to the port?

I think all the kids look so cute when they are all excited and in awe of the ship and the trip in general! This picture is my sons first time off the ship and he is headed to the beach. He couldn't stop smiling. Picture wise it is not the best shot I took but it captured how he felt the whole time perfectly. To me this picture is why Disney is worth the money. I looked around and noticed it seemed other peoples kids were all smiley too.

PRECIOUS!!!:thumbsup2

Just found my cosmetic bag at ebags.com. It's great for sitting on the vanity. It has a zipper on top for everything and a zipper on the bottom for brushes, etc. It'll work fine.

Deb - these are great! Where did you get them from??

All different places that I have bookmarked. I get bored and go shopping online for stuff that I'm going to need. Then I bookmark and wait until payday and purchase. It's so easy.

Which ones in particular did you want to know the website for? Or was it for all of them? I'll let you know if you want to.

Hey Marr, shopping for all new things for this cruise makes it so much more fun. You have to have all new things. I couldn't rewear my old dresses.....I have pics in those dresses already. I need new pics in new clothes for this cruise.

I'm still looking for a new cosmetic bag. I want to be able to open it and see everything....not the kind that folds or hangs.....I have the bathroom stuff in that bag and hang it in the bathroom. I need a bag that zips in half and you can see everything and it sits right on the vanity. I haven't found that yet. Still looking.

I know exactly what you mean! I have been buying a bunch of new stuff for the cruise too. Makes waiting for the cruise to get here easier since I am spending time preparing for it! The pictures are the reason I am looking for new dresses too! I want this to be as special as it possibly can be. I have a bunch of stuff I still need to buy so I am always looking around online for the next cruise item I need. :thumbsup2

Post some pics when you buy some stuff.....we all want to see.

Hi Deb, where did you get the matching hawaiian set. I love it.

Hi Deb

I cannot stop laughing about Angel

I like your new dresses and it is beautiful.

I bought top from my work for Mexican. :thumbsup2

Scottishwee35

Angel is definitely too smart for her own good.

Thanks about the dresses. I needed to have new ones and if I can't fit into the new sizes and have to wear the old size, then at least if it's new it's all good!

Take pics and post your new mexican top that you bought from work. We all would love to see.

Driving home from Tahoe....darn rock put a big crack in our windshield. Looks like the whole thing would need to be replaced, as opposed to repair. Darn it! There goes $100 from my airline savings!

You are all getting me into the shopping mood! I have matching tropical outfits - got them all from Hawaii in January. I have tons of pirate outfits, but probably should pull them down to take a peek and make sure something fits my oldest. Also, I'm starting the "raw" diet on Sunday...liquid for one week, and the just raw! Going to make me incredibly grumpy. I have a friend that swears by it...he is going to come on Saturday and make shakes for DH and I for the week. AFTER this diet, then I'll shop for some formals. I have one in my closet I would love to wear...but haven't worn it for about 10 years so not sure it would fit. Maybe after a month of just raw food! Anyone else have experience with this? There is a movie coming out in spring about it. Supposively it has cured some diseases...Oprah has done some shows on it.
Lisa

Doug

No doubt about it....Doug....she is training me. I have to make adjustments so that she behaves. It's amazing....and she gets what she wants which is attention.....she's got me wrapped around her little toes.
