Can I ask will we see the full list before we leave to go on the cruise and get the mini navigators? Would be good to see for personal fish mail preparations!!!

I print the mini-navigators at the very last minute before flying to Florida. Then I can put in all the latest updates and changes and last minute cruisers that post on the boards.

They will be handed out at the DCL terminal before boarding, and if I don't catch up with you before boarding begins, they will have mysteriously showed up as your first piece of "fish mail" when you are allowed to go to your staterooms at 1:30 p.m. My "fish" swim upstream real fast, no need to "refresh" and try to track me down, I will have them in your fish mail.

I also print a couple of extras, so when I am asked I can get an extra copy to you if needed.

My biggest complaint is sellers who don't leave feedback after you have bought an item. They wait for you to leave feedback (as a buyer) and then they leave it depending on what you have said. I'm sorry but if you got my money and information and you have shipped out the item, your end is done and you should immediately leave the feedback.

I have stopped giving feedback at all until I receive it when I am a buyer. And if the seller never gives it, then I won't ever give feedback in the other direction.

As such, the feedback system is flawed with these current practices because if no feedback is left, then no one is the wiser and it becomes completely useless.

This has actually turned me off ebay for the most part as it has happened FAR too frequently of late. </soapbox>

I agree as a buyer but not as a seller. What if the seller leaves good feed back and then the buyer claims they never got the item or it was damaged when it wasn't? Unfortunately the good ones have to suffer because of the bad ones. I have had such great sellers though, they leave feedback like they are supposed to and so do I. I only use very few sellers now.

Also, if someone does the stateroom layout and marks the staterooms lime green for those that are disboarders, I will be happy to put the decks on the last page of the mini-navigator, I just need someone to email me a jpeg of the file so I can add.

Also, on the last page of the mini-nav, there will be a list of staterooms, by deck, in numerical order, they will be in two colors. Those participating in the fish extender exchange will be in one color, and those not will be in another. That way you can take your mini-nav with you when delivering and if you start on port side you can hit each stateroom in order, then head to the other hall and hit the others. Makes it really handy and fast when delivering instead of wandering around back and forth.

The stateroom map with the lime green really helps if someone does it because you can visually see where everyone is!

Mom323...I noticed you posted on the toiletry bag thread...what do you keep your bare escentuals in?

It's just a clear toiletry bag. I bought the sample box at sephora (get started kit), the jars are smaller. They also have a cute travel brush that fits into my purse.

OH MY!!!! The first car DrHug and I bought together was a 1967 Barracuda. We LOVED that car!!

Then the Hornet in I think 1975. Worst car on the planet!! We would find a handful of screws in the floor every morning. The brakes did not work in the rain and after 8 months (bought it new) we PUSHED it into the Toyota dealer that was at the end of our block and traded it for a Toyota Corona wagon.

Ralph is still my all time favorite car.
Seymour was a 75' as well. Brown hatchback. We had it for about a year and traded it in on Adolph. I've been driving a VW bus since then.

OMG- What will V do? Ebay strike to start Monday!!!

EBay users plan to show their dismay with new fee and policy changes by staging a week-long boycott starting Monday, Fortune Small Business reported.

Sellers at Ebay have the biggest complaints, saying that the new rules will cost them more money by adding higher final-value fees. EBay also plans to reward top sellers with priority status in searches so that their names come up more frequently and higher up than low-volume sellers.

Another problem sellers have with the new policies is that the feedback system that many rely on to help them weed out bad buyers will be dismantled. This, they say, will make it easier for negligent bidders and scammers to cheat them, reported Fortune Small Business.

EBay spokesman Usher Lieberman said that they have good reasons for their fee and policy changes and that it was “still premature for us to speculate” about the effects of the proposed boycott.

I do not like the fact that sellers will now no longer be able to leave feedback! That is just wrong IMO.

One of our Aussie cruisers was going to do some bush dancing. I wonder if it is still on. all the details were on the other website now closed and could do with being on our 1st page.

Did pop out to get some food, but now back in the warmth. Have to finish off my ironing and then going to sort out my knicker drawer!!

When we were kids and told Mom we were bored, she ALWAYS suggested we could clean out our underwear drawer! To this day, I still find things I'd forgotten that I'd hidden away in there.


Forget who asked about the list, but we have about 120 cabins of DISers and a handful more cabins of extended family/friends. About a dozen cabins are people Lisa has not heard back from (on whether they are still on the cruise or not).

Also, over ONE THIRD of us are GTY! Sure hope DCL does get us cabins by the 30 day mark, our our gift distribution lives will be pretty hectic if a mess of aren't assigned till departure day!

Goodmorning all, yes, another day of bad weather! With 6 days of bad weather on the forcast - this is our usual DL time while the parks are quiet. UGH!!!!

I can deal with the sound of popcorn or other snacks. The worst experience in a movie theatre was a lady who answered her cell phone during the movie, and she chatted away as if she were alone in her living room. Arrgghhh!Woody

Cell/text does bug me... but what drives me nuts is the sick/coughing person is coughing through the entire movie. I have a very low immune system and catch every little illness that people go out in public with, so no matter where I sit the sick cougher always finds me! I always try to move, but that means moving several of us. UGH. It's like I have a beacon over my head that says if you're sick come sit behind me!!!!

Thanks for the offer We've avoided the costco card since we have absolutely no storage space in our apartment so where to put things bought in bulk would be ahuge issue.

Yes, I get this problem, we end up stashing stuff in the funniest places that we have to find later.

ACK, Dodge ball. The bane of all school nurses!!!. It amazes me that my neighborhood kids can all but kill each other playing dodge ball and other games at home on the weekends, but come Monday, they play Dodge ball during PE and immediately have "injuries" that require and ice pack. At one point our school district banned dodge ball.

The game for "bullys" - the big kids to hurt the little kids... can you tell who the little kid was? Lots of schools have banned this around the world.

I am still trying to get caught up from Part 4 of the forum.
Someone posted about putting quarters in prescription bottles for storage. We use the M&M minis containers. They fit perfectly.
