Does anyone else have plans to rebook onboard??

I cannot bear leaving the MAGIC without having another cruise booked. It is hard enough leaving ... but without a firm plan to return, I would cry for at least a week (no kidding, at least a week!!).

Does anyone else go thru severe withdrawals???

Geesh!! After spending most of yesterday and today on GS Cookies paperwork (did you guys miss me?!?) ... I have "one more thing" to do. I'll be back in a bit.

My Smartie trick is to go to a gas station or CVS and by the 99 cent bag of Smarties...instead of the $4 bag from Walmart.....that way I don't get overwhelmed with Smarties (and calories)

oh, that's a good idea, I might start using that technic.

Well, remember a few months back and I thought we were going to have to put Casey to sleep? We didn't as I got some good advise here, she was still eating fine and did have some good quality of life.

Well last night was a bad one for her. She gets up in the middle of the night and barks and gets lost in the house. Paul was up with her for 2 hours last night. I even woke up which is odd since I sleep thru everything.

I talked with Paul a bit ago and he wants to take her in this week

She is not doing well and really keeping him from sleep at night.

I'm so sad.

I do worry about leaving her with a pet sitter while we are gone on the repo, it's a lot to ask someone else to have to get up all night long with a crazy old dog.

As we are non usa people - I just wonder if we do get up early morning for immigration while we cruise in usa?

Anyone can let me know if it is still doing it or stop it?? I remember that we did it last two years ago in early morning.

We didn't have to gt up early on the last morning Deborah. Just all in together now. Unless the Panama Canal Cruise makes a difference.

Wanted to mention that in addition to my "group", you will be receiving at least 3 "special packages" delivered throughout the cruise ... my crew loves stuffing the Fish Extenders and seeing everyone's doors. They will be a surprise ... but here's a hint ... they will contain both fun stuff and candies!! And maybe ... oh, I don't know ... I might throw in some SMARTIES!!

They do know about the DIS and they do monitor it to see what folks are talking about. HHHMMMM Maybe THAT is the job for me after I retire! I could cruise the DIS and let Disney know what they should be doing to keep us all happy!

I can ship in quantities of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12 per single shipment. With UPS which is how we ship, it is always cheapest to ship with the highest quantity.

Well, we were only thinking of buying a couple of bottles before going on the cruise as we don't drink much, but we would prefer to buy from you, so will be in touch. We are at the BCV for 4 nights before the cruise. You might have to post a gentle reminder - we won't mind!!!

How are you all getting from the port in LA to DL?

Should we book a taxi type thing? Super Shuttle? Is Disney doing transfers we can book even though we didn't take the offer at booking time?

What is the best way to get from DL to LAX for our flights back home) )

I don't want any more stress!!

Morning all - thanks to your sggestions the Book == Path to the Sea - is now being wrapped with hearts and kisses for DH Valentine's present - perfect right?

Lisa - is a 5 year old allowed on the tour you are trying to book????

Laura - we had an issue with an item that was shipped from CC and arrived at stateroom broken - discovered when we came home - fast forward to solution - they replaced it on our next trip - so why not bring all the paperwork with you on the trip and see if you can get it fixed on board????

Gosh - sorry to hear folks are still having trouble with trying to open the website.

Woody mentioned he was keeping a list - One thing I thought of is why do you have to have all shore excursions on one page - why not port by port with a drop down, that would make confirming easier than the site trying to load the entire page???? REally, ticket sites dealw ith thousands of hits when shows open up...

Gee once again - out of time to catch up on posts......Guess I will have to wait until we are all on board....

I think I will be feeling the same way after this cruise. After being onboard for so very long then having to leave will be very hard! Especially after making a bunch of new friends. Kind of like when I was a kid going to summer camp. You always cry when you leave all your friends and the fun you were having away from home.

Well, no school again today. Wonder how I will break the news to Sophia when she wakes up?

We got freezing rain last night when it was up to 34 on top of the snow, and looks like about 4 more inches of snow fell while I was sleeping on top of that. Our Superintendent sent me an email saying the roads were very dangerous.

Amy did not stock the larder with man-food like frozen pizza!

I tried the frozen broccoli and cheese, but it was blechhh.

There is stuff in the pantry, but I would actually have to cook!

Nan, I'm sorry to read about your pup, I know it is a hard thing to do.

Our 9 month old puppy just ate 5 (of the kids', I swear) Entemanns donuts, 3 of which were chocolate covered. I'm going to google chocolate and dogs and see how sick I think he'll be.

Can I blame the dumb things I've been doing on residual sleep deprivation from Sat night?

You probably already know the answer, but when a similar thing happened to us, our vet said the dog may not feel well for a bit, but not fatal. Fatal would have to be eating like a pound of baking chocolate - something with concentrated cocoa.

I posted a question about poker a few days ago and no one responded. My DH is bugging me about it! Does anyone know the rules for bringing on chips? Is anyone else even interested? $10.00 or 25.00 buy in? Nothing major, just some fun games or Texas Holdem.

Gee at first I was thinking potato chips, and wondering what the problem was. Not a poker player here, so I don't know any rules. Why would they care though? Would it keep people from Bingo?

Good Morning Marilyn and John.....I doubt that there's any school here either. We had about four inches of snow yesterday then ice on top of that all night and now rain on top of all that today. Another weighted branch just fell off a tree and nearly hit the house. Just Great!

Our electric went off about 6:30am. I called to report it and they told me it would be back on by 8:30am. We'll see.

Just another typical winter day.
