Marilyn - if I send you cash would you be willing to bring me some FRUITGUMS? real ones???! I will send xxxxtra!
Thanks - I can't catch up. Busy at work, and trying to wrap things up to fly out for the service.
DH and I had a long "discussion" and I usually win discussions (isn't that how it is suppose to work??) but this one sadly I didn't. He feels now strongly that leaving and spending the money for the cruise is not a good for us as a family. I totally am bummed, and am trying to deal with it. I will manage the fish teams as that will be so much fun, and I hope to see many pictures. But I am calling Disney to cancel.I will miss meeting you all, although I'm certain many of us will meet on future cruises. I will still stay on the boards if you all don't mind and live my vacation through you guys!!! And you all be sure to have a DOD for me on May 16, the Panama Canal day!!

I am planning on taking GooGoo's to give out - not just for my immediate people but also for others that I come in contact with just as a "thank you".
I was inspired by a post on the main boards about the couple who took little bottles of Maple syrup to the parks and handed them out to CM's everywhere in the park including a restroom attendant who said it was the first time she had been given something like that. It was a very touching story.
I selected GooGoo's because they are made in Tennessee - I know you can get them other places especially now that Cracker Barrel's are common around but I hope they will still think it is a nice treat.
What I plan on doing for my "tipped" positions will be to write a progressive letter/card to each one each night thanking them for the services provided for that day and specifically pointing out the things we appreciated most. I will then give it to them on the last day with their tips. We always tip a little more than specified but not sure how much more till we are on board.
They would love the See's chocolates. They do NOT eat like we do and enjoy edible treats. We have gave our room steward about a half bottle of wine that we did not finish and she LOVED it. It was some we made that had a bit higher alcohol content though and she was not feeling quite up to par the next day.She did not share it with her friends!

Way back I worked for See's during the holiday seasons - Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Mothers Day - part time after my regular job. I did not make much money, but bought lots of boxes for gifts! I also had GREAT benefits there..... all I could eat while at work! We could not take any home without paying for it, but could nibble all day for free! Yummer!! I have to admit that I finished off an entire 5 lb box one Saturday.Of course, that is all I had for breakfast, lunch, dinner and breaks.
Love it, love it!!

I'm sure it would be considered one of the basic food groups, not a liquid.![]()
We did also...that's funny! I ate from the 6 grams and under menu...DH, of course, did not!
Now you guys have me wanting Subway tonight for dinner. Or maybe Pizza. No, Subway I think it will be.
OMG that is how many calories are in that. I will never admit now to how much I have ate![]()

Do more people like milk chocolate than dark chocolate? And would that be true for people from outside the US?
I prefer dark but Darrell prefers milk. And I was assuming dark from See's for gifts. But maybe not - do they have mixed assortments?
