ok, I need some pixie dust and good thoughts, I don't want to say just yet and jinx anything, but there may be a spot of sunshine in the carlin household in the coming week or so!

I know this has been asked a bunch on the main boards...but, I'll try it here... what do you think is the possibility that they will have a Photopass system on board by May? That would be great. Also, lifestyle pics, are those available every night or just certain nights?

I have my fingers crossed re Photopass but I am not sure it will happen. Would be great!

I have a friend who works for PhotoPass (and wants it to be on the ships so she can go train the CMs)......she has said there is a contract w/ who ever is on board right now until either 2009 or 2010 (can't remember which).

Sorry to be a bubble burster.

Bring the flops! I love those and they are so cheap! Whenever I visit my sister in Roseville I make her take me over there! Love the Jelly Belly FLops!

Yes we buy the flops a lot. The kids like the odd shapes and sizes. I like they are usually bigger :lmao: I am getting a lot of feedback on these jelly bellys from everyone here. I had no idea soooo many people liked them. We live quite close to the jelly belly family. They have all their toys painted up in the belly design. They have an rv, a little vw bug a truck and several race cars and a motocycle. My son always yells and points as we drive down the street past them. I grew up eating the jelly bellys so I guess I am a jelly bean snob as I do not like regular ones.

FYI-I usually go to Guest Services about midway through the cruise and pay my tips and get the receipts. That way there is NO LINE and I've taken care of it in less than 5 minutes. If you wait till the last night, there is usually a VERY LONG LINE!

Also, especially on a longer cruise, I usually go to Guest Services and ask for an updated printout of my bill. Then if there are any errors, I catch it earlier sooner than later and I have had errors that have needed to be fixed.

That's a good tip I will have to do that since this trip is so long. Maybe every 5 days look over the charges. I know there will be a lot of them!

Pixie dust headed to you and your family. I'm sure you will be thinking of all the wonderful times you were able to spend with her. :wizard:

Thanks - I can't catch up. Busy at work, and trying to wrap things up to fly out for the service.

DH and I had a long "discussion" and I usually win discussions (isn't that how it is suppose to work??) but this one sadly I didn't. He feels now strongly that leaving and spending the money for the cruise is not a good for us as a family. I totally am bummed, and am trying to deal with it. I will manage the fish teams as that will be so much fun, and I hope to see many pictures. But I am calling Disney to cancel. :sad1: I will miss meeting you all, although I'm certain many of us will meet on future cruises. I will still stay on the boards if you all don't mind and live my vacation through you guys!!! And you all be sure to have a DOD for me on May 16, the Panama Canal day!!

Happy Anniversary :bride: :groom: :lovestruc

That's my weakness....photos:eek: I think I'm going to try and do my Christmas cards there as well...I know its early but it would get that out of the way. We did that last time we cruised DCL in October and it was the best thing ever:thumbsup2 so easy. Is it 6x8 or 8x10 or is it and?:confused3 How much are personal portraits...a family shoot?

one more question...I know we book excursions Feb.9 at midnight eastern right ...what time is that in AZ...Jackie help?:confused3 10?

Well, gotta run...try and check back in later....didn't make it to the dr's (DS gets allergy shots on Fri. he's at every other week now this was his week ) and he has soccer practice tonight in one minute (it's five minutes away) either we'll be late or we won't make it tonight....not in the mood for soccer:sad2: Have a good evening everyone.

BTW the pirate princess party looks fun...still have to plan my WDW vacation and DL...hope there are hotels left:eek:

oh no! I am so sorry to hear that!:sad1:

I are prepaying our tips. $11 per person per day is what our TA told us. It worked out to $165 per person for the cruise.

Joseph

wow that's $660 for our family of four, it adds up quicky
