ok, when shall we go?

naw, just kidding. Molly and Wil are going away to camp for 2 weeks and Paul and I can have our first vacation alone in 11 years. Sad part is camp is happening during Molly's bday. I'm thinking that I want to try to appear with a cake on that day. We'll see, they don't like parent visits at this camp...
I am trying to go either in June right after school gets out or the last week of July during my bday. I reserved the June date but am trying to figure what week works the best right now. So if anyone is thinking of going let me know!

Jackie...this is new in your sig, isn't it????? What does it mean???? Do you have connections with the TF and have been holding out on us???????:confused3

John, same here on the weather. Buffalo is having flood warnings, we are under about 12" of snow with more to come.

Pj

We have 190% of the normal snow pack in the Cascade Mountains, with another 30 inches expected over the next couple of days. Must be that global warming. ;)

love this..who is making these tshirts or buttons?

That is soooo a button I would put on our Disney backpack!

Gee, I don't know, something about saying mine is kind of brown and on my desk brought up strange images. Bad associations I guess.

well since you brought it up and I'm the queen of TMI, I gave Paul a gift that stops giving on our first DCL cruise, yes on Xmas I said, ok you can have the surgery....I so don't want to go back to the toddler years again :lmao: But we can none the less enjoy the sport of the activity now with caution throw in the face of the wind.:woohoo:

We do not talk about this on the DIS boards. I went through this discussion at length on our last cruise thread, and no one comes at me there with anything sharp. Nope.

Dennis, are you still with me on this?

Tomorrow morning I have my physical (last week was just blood work) I am waiting to see if Amy asked our doctor to bring this up. She will get a big fat NO from this hombre.

crocs really do help! i was diagnosed with plantar fascitis a couple years ago...my feet would really hurt first thing in the morning and when i got up after sitting for more than a few minutes...REALLY EMBARRASING and painful! my crocs did wonders....i always have a pair by my bed for when i go to the bathroom in the middle of the night...i never go barefoot anymore but my plantar fascitis has not been back...also i took extended relief tyl and aleve every morn and night for 3 months...i think eberything together made it all go away....i had heel spurs at the time (ugly awful little things that look like a hook coming off the bottom of your ankle bone) but i have not had my feet xrayed since then so i do not know if they are still there....

Has anyone tried the Oka B shoes? They appear to be the same kind of material as Crocs but are a tiny bit more stylish. My MIL has both and likes the okas too, she gave me a pair but it has been too cold and snowy to try them.

Ok,

Should get to bed I guess.

If you see my light on, nobody is home.

Downloading the "Black Hotel" book on audible while I sleep. Almost done with the Talisman.

I must be the only one who prefers the Palo tiramisu to the souffle, and I am a card carrying chocoholic...

Ok I am going to post this for the late night crew and then one time during the day for the skimmers out there. I will be solo pretty much as far as adult activities and I do have some late night buddies lined up :thumbsup2 BUT.... is there anyone out there who might want to buddy up with me so I can try Palos but not be alone doing it? I have never ate there and would really like to get brunch and dinner and tea in but not all alone. I don't mind being a third or fourth wheel either. :flower3:

End of my really pathetic sounding public announcement :rotfl2:

Oh wait were we all supposed to try for a certain day for tea right? I might have that wrote down somewhere.

Now that was fast! I only just re-put this in my sig a couple of minutes ago! LOL

No official TF connection. Way back many years ago a thread was started on the CB to help people 'attract' the TF. Polls were posted on the best 'bribes' (cash and chocolate were the TF's choice). Lots of 'clapping' posts ensued and basically it just grew to be one of the 'home bases' of some DISers (you know....one of those cliques). Anyway, at one point members chose colors (the TF is, after all about color) and artifacts were awarded to attract the TF. I was awarded the Story Book as I was usually the last one to post each day and would start a 'bed time' story for the rest of the Tagliarchy.

There was a point a few years back when the TF was getting upset with all the threads (on many different forums) being posted begging for tags. The TF ;) asked for them to stop, but said it was OK to go to the Tagliarchy thread and just post those requests there. There's not much TF business done there anymore, as I mentioned, it's really just a home base for the handful of us that are left AND anyone else who wants to join in. But I have always loved the book reading smilie they found for me.

There you go....more than you ever wanted to know....

I dod not know he was gone. Does anyone know where he went??

I think Broadway. There was a thread on the main cruise forum back in the fall about what he had done and how he was trying to win a part in the show Rent though an online contest. (He didn't win - but a lot Dis people voted for him).

Haven't heard anything since then.

Other than our servers and stateroom host he's was the only cm we've ever really interacted with on-board.

funny thing was I didn't want him to do it either. He was the one that knew he wanted no more children and this was his solution. It creeped me out. But I caved after 5+ years of him telling me no more kids. I still to this day think, what would #3 have been, boy or girl  but nope, we're done.

JOHN1 and DENNIS!!!! RUN!! They are talking about THE SURGERY again!!! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hey are any of you from the west coast planning on doing the Mexican 7 day cruise while it is in California? I was thinking I may book a week since they are here so close to me. It is easier since I am in California and cheaper since I can drive to port. I also have passes to Disneyland, Sea World and the Wild animal park and San Diego Zoo. Would be a low cost vacation as far as the land portion for me. So anyone planning on one or considering it? Oh and it visits a port our cruise does not that is a bonus!

We did DCL Mexico in 2005...we enjoyed it but once was enough for us, especially since we'll repeat some of the POC on the PC cruise. It was very nice to not have to fly anywhere to catch the ship!!!

I must be the only one who prefers the Palo tiramisu to the souffle, and I am a card carrying chocoholic...

And I think I really like their panna cotta over the souffle too (don't tell anyone I said that though). ;)

Actually, it's just that the souffle is almost 'too much' after a meal....BUT on it's own, a couple hours after dinner, with some Rosa Regale....NOW THAT'S A DIFFERENT STORY! :thumbsup2

OK i am going to try and keep up with you guys again...LOL...I am Keri
mom to Matthew 12 and abbey 5 and of course dh CLiff....we live in tampa and this will be our 6th cruise and let me tell you I am not prepared at all. Just made final payment....i have no clue how we are getting to the port...did not reserve palo's....what night do you think i should...if there are any left, what am i missing things i need to do...i am usually so OCD with our trips but not this time...now I am feeling stressed!!

we are in a cat 5 by the way...just incase anyone wanted to know.

I am going to try and stay ontop of the posting this time...you guys are such a chatty group!

We are a chatty group but don't worry about keeping up...just check out page 1 for some good info and jump in at any time!!!!

It's a fleece blanket, 4 ft. x 6 ft, cranberry color. It says:
Panama Canal Cruise
Castaway Club
Disney Cruise Line
Sailing 2005
Cabo San Lucas * Mazatlan * Acapulco * Curacao * Castaway Cay

Don't know what they'll do this time. On our November '07 Eastern cruise, we were mildly disappointed that the discontinued the Castaway Club pins and lanyards.

Woody

i am sad they did away with the lanyards....i thought the passport holders we got on the transatlantic were ok but i am hoping for something i can use more often this cruise...did castaway club members get these passport holders on all the med cruises last summer?

Well we went to see the HM movie tonight...520 show on a Wed night and it was almost sold out, Crazy!!! Anyway, I was hysterical at the dad portion of the movie...John I bet you would be out there running in high heels for Sophia, wouldn't you? Jaide and Taylor both got upset with Scott and asked him why he didn't do that for them...he had to try and explain to them that that contest was in Texas or somewhere like it. He said if they had done it here he would have done it for them. Great contest idea though!

here in oklahoma a local radio station had a dress up contest and the dad that dressed up the most like hannah montana AND could sing one of her songs won! they showed it on local TV and it was hilarious! i was laughing in the movie too!!! I thought Miley was so cute when they showed the part where the guys dropped her during the concert and she was scared to do that move again...i thought she really acted her age during that part (in a good way - made her more real!!!) my kids loved the movie but my hubby just kept going on about how she'd never make it on american idol and blah, blah blah!!!

On the PF gang, count me in. I found a cute pair of shoes last month and haven't been wearing my crocs, and my heels are in so much pain the last two weeks. I am going back to them this week. I have learned my lesson, I swear.

Pj

my friends do not understand but i am really seriously thinking about buying some of the dressy shoes on the crocs website to wear to dinner...i am too fluffy for heel and regular flats kill my feet!!!! am i so bad?

OMG!!!! this is so true! I am putting this on my cabin door!!!!

I must be the only one who prefers the Palo tiramisu to the souffle, and I am a card carrying chocoholic...

my hubby hates the souffle (two for me! :goodvibes ) and love the tiramisu too as well as all the desserts....does anyone know if MARCO is still on board? who needs souffle when he is there???   :rolleyes1 :cloud9:

Dennis said "exacto", errrr....he means "eggs-actly". I think he means YES stay away from there with sharp instruments! :lmao: :lmao:
