Hello, fairly frequent Disneyland guest here, but haven't been since Fall 2016. When I looked up ticket prices I saw something called the 'MaxPass' and I'm not clear on what it is.
First of all, does it work well? Does EACH person in your party have to have the app and get a FP or can one person have the app and get FPs for everyone in the group?
Can you still get the paper FPs by going to the attractions and inserting your ticket? If you can, are the MaxPass FPs linked to the physical machine FPs in any way? In other words, can you double up on FPs by using the app to get some, as well as physically walking to the machines to get some?
What advantages to the MaxPass are there besides the convenience of not having to walk to the machines? I heard you can get new ones sooner--in 90 minutes instead of 2 hours. Is that correct?
Does the app show the return times before you commit to getting them (in case you have dinner ressies then)?
Can you be in Disneyland and get FPs for California Adventure, or do you have to be in California Adventure to get California Adventure FPs? And vice versa with needing to be in Disneyland to get Disneyland tickets. If you go back to your hotel during the middle of the day can you still access and choose FPs for when you return?
Is there a limit to how many FPs you can get per day (like at Disney World)?
Finally, how do you get the MaxPass?? Do you get a code and instructions or is it on your ticket or what??
Anything else I should know?? Thank you so much!!
