MAW Trip of a Lifetime....1st time to WDW! -Beach Update!

Love all the Big Gives! And your party looks awesome! We had a much smaller party but I think maybe because we got a pretty big expense check (but we have a lot of people). Did you guys ever get your GKTW packet?
We might run into you there! I bet you guys are really getting excited now!

Actually there were 11 of us at the party in all.... Kaleb's teacher was unable to make it! It was pretty nice.....
We haven't got the packet yet.... go figure... I hope we don't get there and they say.....uh... who are you?
We are getting excited but still have a lot of work around the ranch to get things in order for my nephew to take care of it.. he's a greenhorn!....!!!
I'm glad you got a good expense check.... I think we got what we needed and am glad for that!
We will be looking out for you all! I think we'll be able to recognize the Big Gives...but even if we don't, it's fun to think of another boarder there at the same time!



Thank you everyone for visiting our PTR! The cake balls were delicious and we were left with a few to eat today! We will also be sending a couple to Kaleb's teacher since she couldn't make it Our grantors were great! I'm glad I made sure to get a photo this time!!!!

I think in regards to the cake balls, the requestors only told her we were going to Disney, and she did the rest of the magic!!!! And it also helped me from eating too much cake, because I have a cake weakness!

I will post our flight times and plan later this evening or tomorrow!!!!!

Well one week to go.... got sick kids and hopes of being healthier by next week! Kaleb has had a tough time with coughing and sinus, which seems to take forever to get rid of on his immunosuupressants... but it's not gong to stop us!!!!!

Well we actually take off April 17th....
Sunday afternoon we take off to Omaha to stay the night at the Courtyard by Marriott.... we are to meet some greeters to have dinner at a restaurant within walking distance....

Monday April 18th
*Get up and meet the LIMO at 6 a.m. for the SHORT trip to the airport!!! The kids don't know about this part. I'm leaving it for a surprise...
*Depart on Southwest at 8:35 and have a layover in Chicago and arrive in Orlando at 2:05
*Head to GKTW to check in and check everything out. Probably have a late orientation....
Zoe's B-DAY! She turns 5!


Tuesday April 19th
*Epcot with friend Carole

Wednesday April 20th
*MK with ADR's at CRT for breakfast at 8:20 and Crystal Palace at 5:50PM

Thursday April 21st
*IOA and WWOHP!
*Christmas at GKTW!

Friday April 22nd
*AK
*Pirates and Princess Party

Saturday April 23rd
*Melbourne beach and Sebastian Inlet State Park with Brian's Aunt and Uncle from Miami.... This is an AM
*Sea World?
*Mayor Clayton's Birthday party

Sunday Aprl 24th
*GKTW/easter egg hunt
*Pack up and head to airport by noon
Depart Orlando at 3:15 pm
*Brian's Birthday!
*Stay at the Marriott in Omaha

Monday April 25th
*Arrive home...assess damage

We are going to try to fit in DTD... but we'll see how that goes.... !

I'm so glad Kaleb was well enough to enjoy the party. I didn't know Zoe was turning 5 in Disney!! How special!! My Ryan turns 5 the week, so our kiddos are pretty close in age

I'm doing the damage assesment....least got my laundry done, just need to put it away and fold some items and still do about half of my unpacking and find places for all of Megan's new stuff!

you will have such a magical trip, enjoy every minute!

I forgot one cute little story at the party! Nathan was so excited about telling them that Mickey had sent them a postcard, and that Mickey couldn't wait for them to visit!!! It was soooooo cute!

ALso my oldest Nathan turns 9 on the 16th and my DH on teh 24th so we are really celebrating birthdays that week along with Kaleb's life!

What a great send off party. You are getting so close now. I hope all the kids start to feel better really soon...I am sure they will.

The week before we left all four of us had bronchitus (sp?) and I was super stressed but it was like we were meant to be sick that week so we would not be on our trip. We all took out last dose of antibiotics right before the limo arrived to take us to the airport and enjoyed a healthy trip.

All the Big Gives have been amazing and I know you will have the best time wearing them at the parks.

Well today we received a new BIG GIVE!!!! from hmdelf! aka Heather... Since Kaleb was home, I decided ot let him open it and save anything that might be in for Nathan for when he gets home... I will admit these photos aren't great but I will take more when Nathan gets home.....

I love these shirts... they are from one of my all-time favorite Pixar movies.... Have you seen Hello Dolly? Well if you have then you know what this give is!!!!!!!!!!!

Well since photo bucket has been down, I haven't been able to put up the photos of nathan opening his Wall-E shirt, but he was sooooooo excited...
In other news... it looks like Nathan has mono, but she thinks he is almost over it and can go to school etc.... so I don't think it will affect the trip...although we might have to miss eating in the restaurant.... and Kaleb's coughing and stuff is still here and the dr gave us anitbiotics for it and some other stuff... that we will ahve to take on our trip.. I thought I was going to get away without any refrigerated liquids...not!!!! and if he's not better by Thursday then she wants to put him on a nebulizer..... so we'll see how that goes....Zoe tested Neg for Mono but her neck has been swelled and so she could still have it.... so we'll have to see..... We aren't postponing our trip but ohwell.... and the weather is supposed to be cold and snow here before we leave.....so I am hoping it'll get better for my nephew!!!!! Oh well..........it'll be a great anyways!

I can't see the pics, but YAY, sounds like another wonderful Big Give. Your family has been so blessed. I can't believe your trip is so soon, especially because we are right behind you.

ETA: I just saw your update after I posted, but sorry to hear about Nathan. I hope he is healthy enough to enjoy his trip to the fullest. I hope Zoey feels better soon soon too. There is still time, fingers crossed.
