Hi everyone!! I have enjoyed reading everyones PJs so much that I decided to start my own! Here is just a little but about us...
How we met:
I went to school with DFs cousin in the 7th grade. At the end of the school year, she said that her cousin Matt would be coming to our school next year. Little did I know that "Matt" was the one for me. The first day of 8th grade came and Matt's locker just happened to be exactly above mine. The poor guy had been homeschooled his whole life and had no idea how the school system worked. I would get SO mad at him because he took so long figuring out which books he needed for the next class and therefore I would be late because he was standing infront of my bottom locker. Later in the year, after he got the hang of things, we became friends but it was nothing romantic at all!! We would ride in the same cars on field trips, talk to eachother during class, play cards during study hall, ect. It was not until our 8th grade graduation trip to SanFransisco that "my life changed". I guess you could say that he "poped the question"....my future husband passed me a note on the back of an "Extra bubble gum" wrapper that said "Will you go out with me?" Yes, I was cruel. I didn't give him a direct yes or no. I thought I would let him sweat it out. It was 2 weeks later...the last week of school...that we were offical. I was 13 and he was 14. The rest is history.

Now ON WITH THE WEDDING PLANNING!!!!!:cheer2:

wow been together since you were 13...Congrats!!! How many years does that make you together (I thought that would be better than asking your age ;) ) Can't wait to hear about wedding planning and such. Oh and don't forget to post the pic and you Dfi!

I love your how you met story! DH and I met when we were both 14.

I can't wait to hear about your wedding plans.

I will post pictures as soon as I can figure out how to do it. We will be 19(DF) and 18 (me) when we are married. I know that everyone is going to be thinking "wow, that is extremely young"....and that is ok......I expect people to think that. However, when you have been together for that long.......such is life. As religious people, we figure that moving in together is not the best option for us, therefore, bring on the wedding!!!:)

OMG! What a great story! I wish you both all the best and happiness! Don't ever let anyone say anythign to you about your ages. A good friend told me once that It doesnt matter how old you are as long as two people care about each other, that's all that matters. Just remember to always keep happiness and laughter in your lives!

Can't wait to see the pics!

Trish

Thank you for your encouraging words!!! Does anyone know how many times you have to post before you can post pictures?

I have posted enough times to have pictures now and i know how to do a link, but how do I add a whole picture?????

When you go to post you will see a little icon above where you type, it looks like a Mountain in a yellow box. You have to upload your photo on a hosting site like photobucket.com and then once your photos are uploaded there, you copy the URL that it gives you and paste it into the pop up box that comes up when you click the mountain button. Hope that helps! :)

Hey, I like your names ;) Congrats. I'm sure you'll have a blast planning your wedding.

Thank you for the picture help and the kind words. :) Here is a picture of us taken a couple of years ago at Trinidad Beach here in California.

Cant' wait to read more! That's so cool that you have been together so long. I wish you both the best. Keep God first in every aspect of your relationship and remain true to each other. That's the best advice I can give.

Ok, where to begin.....there are so many things!!! I guess i will start with the attire. Our colors are going to be dark purple (grape/plum) with accents in sage and obviously white and black. I am planning on having three attendants including the maid-of-honor. DF is going to have three as well...nice and even. We are having a causal/semi-formal wedding that I hope will be outside, but that is not set in stone.

These are the bridesmaid dresses I like from Alfred Angelo.

I like these flowers, but it's not exactly what I want...just an idea. I am planning on having my aunt, who is a florist, do the flowers.

I am also having two flower girls (my cousins) who are both gowing to drop purple and sage petals and wear head wreaths.

Don't ever listen to people who complain about your ages. My DH and I were 19 when we married. We have been married for eight years now. True, it was hard at times, but whose marriage isn't??? CONGRATS and thanks for sharing!

Awwwww, You guys look so sweet together!!! I love your wedding colors (purple is such a pretty color)

Thank you for all of the posts! A quick update...we have been toying with the idea of an outdoor wedding in our home town, but I'm not sure if we will end up going that route. I have checked on a few different venues, and the pocketbook is rooting for indoors! The church facilities that I have checked on are very reasonable compared to some other outdoor locations. I could use my own church for free, but the carpet and pews are bright red... :sad2: and there is no reception facility. So, I will keep you all posted as things develop.

Just for fun, here are some hair-dos that i like for myself. I am planning on a sophisticated updo, simple tiara, and fingertip length viel...

I have not gone to try on dresses yet, and will probably not go until January. It is just too busy with the holidays and everything, and I want to go as late as posible...in case ( The Lord Forbid!!) I was to gain weight or something! I have been looking around online alot!!! I have found a few different ones that I like. I need a long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve, modest dress...HARD TO FIND!!!! But this is what I have come up with so far. Opinions greatly appreciated!!:)

These first two are my favorites.....
