Math help

These are two math problems that my DS11 has already done for homework and have been graded, so you will not be giving him the answer. Just as we get older (DH and myself) we start to doubt our brains.

1. Please put in order from least to greatest: 38.88, 38.888, 38.8

2. An egg laid by a vervain hummingbird weighs 0.0132 oz, and one laid by a Costa hummingbird weighs 0.017 oz. Which egg is smaller?

This stems from a thread that I started the other day about students correcting and grading other students papers. Thanks for your answers.

I agree also. You just have to add zeroes to the decimals so that they are the same number of digits and then it is obvious. An old librarians' tip from my library aide days!
