Matching shirts

Hi everyone! My family has been to WDW many times, and this August we will be visiting Disneyland for the first time! We wear matching shirts when we are in WDW, just wondering how common it is in Disneyland for a family/group to be wearing matching shirts? We have great home made Mickey tie dye shirts. I don't think there will be too many more years that my girls will be willing to go matchy-matchy, so I would like to get at least one more year out of them but if we will look totally silly I will leave them at home. Thanks!

I see it a lot there. If you can get everyone to agree then I say go for it! Can't say if it is more common at WDW than at DLR, but no one will think it is odd or anything.

I don't want to discourage you from doing this at DL. Many groups do this there. You won't feel alone.


But not as much as WDW. DLR has too many people on simple one day visits to make a big deal out of their visits. So these locals out number the tourists.

We will be the idiots in the matching shirts this trip. Well for the most part. We are all getting the same color shirt with our name and Disneyland on it but everyone is getting their own character.

We don't do entire family matching shirts, but I do dress my children in custom Disney shirts/outfits (often matching) for our entire trip. They LOVE it and it gets them lots of extra attention from cast members.

I have no shame!!! We're going all in and each day we are coordinating outfits each day as a family by theme (ie: toy story day, etc).

We do it. At first DH thought it was a stoopid idea, until he realized that it was easier to keep track of all of us if we were wearing the same shirts. So I do the mickey head tie dye ones. Gotta make my new set FAST since we'll be back at DLR soon!
