As someone, who has run in to her fair share of winter travel delays, I wanted to throw this out there.
So, they are predicting snow to start tomorrow late, and go through until Monday/Tuesday. If you are flying this weekend, keep an eye on your airline and flights. If you're able to get out early, I would absolutely be pro-active and jump on it. What's going to complicate things if flights start getting cancelled, is that February School Vacation starts next weekend. Knowing that, there are a lot of folks who start getting out of town a few days before vacation, so there could be limited space to re-book people on as we get closer to next weekend.
So, if you're traveling this weekend, good luck, give yourself lots of time, and as an old Transportation Board friend used to tell us, "Pack your patience and a good bar of chocolate"
Here's hoping for smooth flights to all.
