We are taking our first trip to US over spring break and I’m just now finding out there is Marvel there?! I have no idea how I didn’t know. When our DS was three, I convinced my H we had to go to DL so he could meet Spider-Man and I ended up planning an entire west coast trip for us and extended family🤷🏼‍♀️

So before I get my son and H excited, what Marvel stuff is available right now? I realize it could change by spring.

In addition to the Spiderman ride, there is a Dr Doom Fearfall ride (typical drop tower) and Storm Force (teacups).

They have a Spiderman meet. You can also intermittently meet X-men, Captain America, and sometimes others.

The whole Marvel area is comic book themed. Note that it is all based off the comics and not the various Disney Marvel movies.

Universal generally has very short lines for character meets.

This is awesome, thank you! My son loves the comics, too, so this is perfect.

You forgot The Hulk. Best ride on that island. Second best ride in park behind Velcicoaster.

Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure has a Marvel area. Universal in Hollywood does not. There are no Marvel areas in Walt Disney World.

At least until Guardians of the Galaxy is finished, which will be a Marvel ride.

Universal's Marvel Superhero Island is based solely on the comic book versions, so don't expect any MCU related Marvel stuff. However, the Universal Spiderman ride is one of the best rides ever created.

I did forget the Hulk! The line is themed but the coaster is just a roller coaster - granted a very good roller coaster. Therefore I'd put Spiderman above Hulk, especially for Marvel fans.
