Marriott vs. DVC

Just got back from DLP. No DVC booths but lots of Mariott booths!!! What is up with that??

very nice accomodation on site.
I believe this is the way Disney will do off site in future as partners.

Marriott has a Vacation Club resort at DLP. Unfortunately DVC does not

They did the same thing at Disneyland in California. They were originally planning to open a DVC resort about a half hour away on the coast, but ended up selling it off to Marriott. It is now the lovely Marriott Newport Coast resort. Outside of Florida, it seems that Marriott is Disney's preferred partner.
