I got an offer and did the 4 night stay and tour in June. I am assuming i got the invite because I am a Marriott Rewards member(although I don't really frequent Marriotts as much as Starwood and Hilton properties). I costs nothing to join..just go to their website. I think it would be a start. By the way..you can go to hotel reviews and find my review of this property(we upgraded to 1bdroom and it cost $349 for the 4 nights-original offer was $199 for 4 nights). We did not buy there, but the timeshare tour is very low pressure. We have stayed at another Marriott timeshare(Williamsburg Va)thru DVC and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, but not the case for MGV. We have been DVC members since 1994 and this resort did not make us want to purchase a Marriott timeshare. Many others feel it is a great resort, but we just had too many issues from housekeeping to building set-up and access.

We also get offers since we are Rewards Members. Tug is a great place to get member referrals too. We may do this next trip for Horizons or Cypress Harbour. We stayed at MGV in April '05 and really enjoyed it, but I would like to see the other 2 also.
