Hello,

I am being offered both of these properties for an Interval timeshare exchange in June 2013. Both properties are offering a 2 bedroom unit for a trade. Both properties look lovely.

I am hoping for a comparison and opinion of these properties from anybody who may have stayed at both properties. ( comparing facilities, quality of apartments, pools, etc... )

Just my wife and I travelling, no children. We like reasonably quiet pools.

Thanks

MCH has a slightly more laid back feel than MGV. We like both but usually travel in a group with kids, if it was my wife and I kidless, I'd pick MGV. Plus I golf and you can golf right there at MGV. Fishing is better at MCH if that factors in for you.

We have booked through Interval several times (my parents have it) and I have stayed at both resorts.

I would pick Cypress Harbour. Grande Vista is designed AROUND a huge golf course. You have to walk AROUND the golf course to get to the fitness center/bar/pizza hut/store area. It was completely obnoxious. It took us like 20 minutes to walk to get our pizza or work out! Make sure you really look at a map of GV before you book it, I didn't like it at all. I feel stupid driving to the club house but you almost have to at GV. Plus we had to practically beg for pool towels. Overall we were very unhappy with our GV stay and I was sorry I booked it, I was expecting the same level of resort service as CP and Harbour Lake.

I thought Cypress Harbour had much nicer decor and amenities and overall feel. The pools were gorgeous too.

Cypress is a little older. But has a nice family feal. it is a little more compact, all built around the lake. But it is farther from Disney, closer to sea world / universal.

Grand Vista has the golf course running through it, which can be relaxing. GV has a nicer main building, new rooms, and is closer to WDW.

It's a tos up, but if I had to choose again. Having stayed at both, i would do Grand Vista before Cypress.

We stayed at Cypress before & just booked Grande Vista for July. I will be curious to know what a few others have to say. We really liked Cypress too! Ours is thru Interval too!

I am new to staying OFF site, but the savings are significant.
Grand Vista caught my eye.
I love v reading your reviews.
