Marriot Grand Vista in Orlando

:wizard: Try VirtualTourist.com, & Trip Advisor for un biased reviews.

I was in the Industry myself for a long time and you can also call the place and if you want to stay tell them what you want, new(est) accodations, non smoking, etc etc. You have every right, sometimes they can't confirm everything until you check in, but it's your $$ and vacation and YOU want to be happy.......

good luck.:thumbsup2

6 more days until SUNNY WARM FL!!!!!:goodvibes

Checkout the link for the review board at the top of this board. I found several reviews of it there when i looked the other day. We are staying there in June!! I can't wait!!

We stayed there in May 2006. We had a 2bed/2ba unit. It was awesome! I traveled with a good friend, and my 2 kids ages 10 and 11. The pools are really nice, they have a lot of onsite ammenities. I will post a few pictures here for you.

thank you so much for posting those pics! I'm so excited now.
Was it just a few min drive to the parks like it says?

We stayed in a 2BR in the Magellan building about 2 years ago. DH loved it bc/ he loves to be away from the parks, I didn't love it because I felt "far" away...but it is a lovely resort. Our room was refurbished and very nice, I loved our location near the main pool/snack bar, etc. I would stay again if I found a great deal, or next time I'd like to try Cypress Harbour or Horizons since we have kids. It is on the nice, newer part of I-Drive and a nice Publix and Walgreens was close by, but I really did feel like it took a L O N G time to get to the parks. I felt the same way though when we were just at HGVC Sea World too.

It really is close by. About a 10-15 minute drive to the WDW arch. There is plenty of shopping nearby. You are also right down the road from Sea World and the Nick Hotel (you'll probably drive by both everyday on your way to and from the parks)
