It seems like he got a free pass for not wanting to move. She was blasted for not wanting to move.

I agree.

It's not like they met, fell in love, then needed to negotiate a compromise with both sides giving a little.

They both agreed (or didn't agree) to things before they were matched for marriage. If he had been up front and said he wouldn't move, they could have tried to match her with someone else. It might be that her issues would have made that unsuccessful as well, but at least she would have had a chance.

It sort of seems to me like he agreed to move, then decided to pull back and never fully invest in the process.

I'm not sure if I think less of him for that or Ryan for running home to mommy.

The other Ryan was just a hot mess.

I also read about Ryan R. (don't know if its true or not) that his mother wanted him out that he was basically freeloading on her and banking his $$.
That he was cheating on Jaclyn with an ex-girlfriend and he very seldom spent the night with her at the apt. But she never said anything on screen about it.
I found him to be a really nice guy, so I hope these are not true. :/

Davina did not want to leave the City and never agreed to. Ok.

Could they not have compromised like Ryan and Jaclyn? Moved to another borough in the City that's maybe a bit less hustle and bustle than Manhattan?

I think Davina had just purchased an apt prior to the show & was being remodeled & that's why they didn't stay there. She'd need to sell & Sean would too, I don't think either really wanted to.

I don't know names yet (I'm slow, lol) but the one couple that the woman was not attracted to the groom reminded me of the couple from season one, hopefully it'll work out like that marriage did.

LOL, I fell off this thread because I didn't watch the show when it aired and ended up watching not only all the first season but also the 1st year of the married couples (Jason/Courtney and Doug/Jamie). I just have to say if I were Doug, I'd run and run fast away from Jamie who claims her ex is her best friend and wants Doug to like him. That coupled with all her drama just wears me out.

And as a side note, Arranged which usually follows Married At First Sight (the first year of marriage) is one of my most favorite shows, I love Christian.

Oh man I think the opposite! Did you see the preview with clips for all the rest of the season?! Cheating/lying/talking about how unattractive they are to each other! It doesn't bode well...

I think the previews/editing almost always is opposite of what really happens. Seaon 1 Jamie hated Doug found him unattractive and their together.

True, but I've watched all three seasons and this is the most awkward and uncomfortable I've felt watching the weddings. Just feel bad for some of them.

I really liked Arranged as well, but I really feel like Christian & Maria were the only truly arranged couple.

Jamie talking about her ex is bizarre, especially the amount she does do it. Very weird.

The second season was the worse for me.

This season I really like the dark haired nurse , can't remember her name but I know she married Dave, guy with red hair. They do remind me of Doug and Jamie. Her family sure didn't look happy like the rest of the weddings.

The first couple remind me of Monet and her husband. All over each other physically.

Last couple, she is really weird. Glad he trimmed that beard. He seems like a nice guy and seemed to have fun with her. Wish she would have took her vows more seriously though. Thought she wouldn't like his looks but her bridesmaids sure did and her mother. That was strange.

I'm sure there will be lots of drama coming there way.....but at least they all are working and live close I believe. Not like last years couples that lived far away from their job and families.

Was hoping the blonde sexologist was gone, really didn't like her on the reunion show for the second season. Love Dr. Pepper though.
